amazingly executed product nevertheless! Kudos to the inventor!
Mine is fine with the manual. No issues with clearance. Now if on the track, etc I could see how it could be in the way but for normal use-no issues at all.

Hey Brock - I’m still loving the original version, but the new design looks pretty sleek! The only minor issue I had with the first design is that my iPhone 13 Pro Max slightly interferes with the armrest with its case on.

Do you know if any additional clearance was added to the updated design?

Will the phone still stay in place with some G's on the track?

Hi Alex,
I haven't added any additional spacing, but, with enough interest I could make one for the Max. When the phone is on a magsafe charger, is the puck dead-center on the back of the max-sized phone?

Mine stays in place with some pretty serious g's, both lateral and longitudinal. It highly depends on if you're using a magsafe case.

My car does not have the smokers package; just a little storage area. Will your device work?

It does not work for just the storage bin, but I am designing one for it. It would basically be what you see, but it would simply slide into the storage container.

Thank you!

The one other thing that seemed interesting is the angle of the phone; I am just looking for a place to put my phone when I am driving without having to open the center console. Would you be open to making a version where it has a lower profile?

Brockbr-
I like to mount my phone in a forward direction in line with my view of the road.
Would you be able to make a mag phone holder that attaches to dash on the drivers left side just above the vent?
I currently use a simple magnetic device that attaches to the ventilation panes but it's not ideal.

I'm not sure - I've had a lot more requests for "taller" than I've had for "flatter". I'm not against doing a 1-off, but that is time/labor intensive. PM me if you want to discuss it.

I've had a lot of people ask for something similar, mainly because the vent mounts (1) are usually weak and (2) block the vent.

Let me ponder it for a bit.

I would probably be a +1 for the lower profile if that would help make it worth it.

Hi @brockbr , when do you think we can order the new version of the holder - also can you ship to Canada?

I am doing some testing with a few people and once I'm done, I'll put them up to order. Should be within a couple of weeks.

Hi @brockbr, just checking if there is any update? I'm heading on a rally soon and would love to get one of your mounts to keep my map handy. Please let me know if there is any way to purchase one. Thanks.
