Just looked her's up. $5522.00 5 year/60k miles for her 2019 Boxster S with 46,791 miles.
Due to the mileage, it's pretty steep !
Isn't there a extra Rennlist code to get another $200-300 off?
She'll sleep on it and decide tmrw.
Thx!

Quick question on these warranties for those with experience: do they cover oil and coolant leaks? Many of the new hot-vee engines seem to be a setup for leaks. The warranty language doesn't directly address them and refers mostly to ""breakdown" - does that mean the car needs to stop working or have an error message? How about things like rod bearing wear on BMWs: do you have to wait until the engine grenades? Does fidelity platinum cover things like adaptive dampers and roll bars?
Thanks,
NF

I did have a coolant hose of some sort starting to leak on my Turbo S that the dealer found and Fidelity covered it no problem. I didn't even know it was an issue. $1100.00 covered.
Fidelity seems to be very Legit as to their fairness of what is / isn't covered.

Yes, electronically adjustable suspension is covered by the Fidelity coverage. Any other questions about the Fidelity coverage you can reach me directly at tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333 and we can go through the example contract together.

Oh man wish I saw this thread earlier.... was waiting for my CPO to expire early January before renewing. Didn't know prices were going to increase that much
If its too pricey I will just self insure.

Hey all - effective January 1st, Fidelity has increased the Eligibility Requirements for Age for all Extended Warranty Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC's).
Updated eligibility requirements are below:
Age: Current model year plus 15 previous model years (previously 12 years)
Mileage: Vehicle must not exceed 105,000 miles
Read complete Eligibility requirements here: https://steingoldvolvocars.factorypr...onditions.html
This should help lots of folks add Fidelity coverage since there are so many low mileage Porsche vehicles in this forum. Cheers to all

I've been playing with the new 2024 Fidelity coverage options to find the absolute craziest warranty scenario possible, and I think I found it... If this 997 Turbo had just 1,380 less miles on it, making it sub 10K miles, it could still be under warranty coverage over 26 years after its original inservice date. That is equivalent to having a 1998 993 Carrera 4S under Fidelity Platinum warranty coverage TODAY!

Hi
I am looking at a very clean LOW Miles 2021 Macan 7,900 miles
NON Porsche Dealer – (Reputable Mercedes Benz Dealer)
Current Original Porsche Warranty good through April, 2025
Questions – Do I secure a Fidelity Platinum Extended Warranty NOW - or do I wait until April, 2025? IF I wait until April, 2025 and the vehicle has MORE than 10,000 miles at the time of applying for Extended Warranty, would I pay significantly more?
I am obviously trying to find the LOWEST mileage used Porsche – I’m just curious, in general, what the warranty savings would be for a vehicle with 7,900 miles vs. 29,000 miles or 39,000 miles – In other words, is there some financial recuperation due to the lower cost of the Extended Warranty on the more expensive lower mileage vehicle
Thanks!!

Locking in before 10k is for sure the best scenario.
