Reach out to me directly, Highline Autos is the only Rennlist Fidelity retailer able to issue policies in California. Don't worry, still the same competitive rates as those located else were in the country. tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333

Your GT3 is an excluded vehicle from Fidelity's coverage, but our other provider has coverage available I'd be happy to provide you with as well.

Shot out to Mike at Steingold. Easiest transaction ever using their site. Patient as well with many questions and after asking my local dealer they said can’t go wrong with fidelity. Thank you Mike!!

I'll second that! Mike and Steingold's website was fantastic and everything is super simple to get coverage. I had lots of choices, so I was able to tailor my coverage to my needs. Highly recommend.

When quoted, 72 mo / 60,000 miles with $500 deductible. My car currently has 36,000 miles. Do this cover an additional 60,000 miles or only until my car reaches 60,000 miles?

The mileage is additive - 36,000 miles + 60,000 miles = 96,000 miles total

The years begin on the warranty purchase date.

Glad to help

it probably would be a lot higher with 0 deductible.

They make money when nothing breaks after 12 months and then you sell the car and get the pro rated refund. Its impossible not to break 3200 worth of stuff in 72 months.

The $3200 is only for the engine and transmission. I want to keep the car for at least 5-6 years. guess the $3200 would be worth it.

Ahh then it makes sense.
They make money because very few engines or gearboxes break with those miles.
I was thinking you're looking at the full coverage for that price. Sounded cheap.

First 6 months of ownership I'm up to $18k in claims (different warranty company but I bet fidelity would've covered them too), not a single one related to engine or gearbox.

Wow congratulations! But correct, I suggest to all customers go for the max amount of coverage you can afford, I've seen customers opt for lower coverage, and have a single claim come through that would have been covered under a higher level of coverage, well exceeded the price difference between the two levels of coverage.

Default Making a claim when not using selling dealer as repair shop

I own a 2019 911T whose warranty expires soon. Considering FidelityaPlatinum warranty. I don't live anywhere near selling dealer. Below is an excerpt from the contract that outlines the requirements for making a claim when not using the selling dealer as the repair shop. This process seems somewhat onerous to me. I expected that the repair shop would be working with FWS, not me. Can those that have been through this process clarify how it works and does the process go smoothly. Any areas to watch out for?

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM: WHEN REPAIRS ARE REQUIRED, IF POSSIBLE, RETURN YOUR VEHICLE TO YOUR SELLING DEALER. IF YOU CANNOT RETURN YOUR VEHICLE TO YOUR SELLING DEALER, YOU MUST TELEPHONE FWS AT 1-800-327-5172 DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS, WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO REIMBURSE YOU FOR THE COST OF ANY REPAIRS. AUTHORIZATION MUST BE OBTAINED FROM FWS PRIOR TO HAVING YOUR VEHICLE REPAIRED. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO INSPECT ANY VEHICLE BEFORE AUTHORIZATION OF ANY REPAIRS. IN ORDER TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THIS SERVICE CONTRACT YOU MUST:
1. PROVIDE “TEARDOWN AUTHORIZATION” WHEN REQUESTED BY FWS, SO THAT THE REPAIR FACILITY CAN PROVIDE AN ACCURATE DIAGNOSIS AND ESTIMATE OF REPAIRS. WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO REIMBURSE YOU FOR TEARDOWN COSTS IN THE EVENT THE REPAIRS ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SERVICE CONTRACT;
2. IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY SITUATION THAT OCCURS AND FWS CANNOT BE REACHED, YOU CAN PROCEED WITH REPAIRS, BUT PAYMENT WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS SERVICE CONTRACT;
3. SUBMIT A CLAIM FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO FWS, ALONG WITH ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS, WITHIN THIRTY (30) DAYS OF AUTHORIZATION OR REPAIR;
4. RETAIN ALL REPLACED PARTS UNTIL YOUR CLAIM IS SETTLED, AS YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT THESE PARTS FOR INSPECTION.

@911T4ME You do not need to bring the vehicle to your selling dealer for anything. I understand it is confusing that they have that in there, but Fidelity of course recognizes some of their retailers are national (us for example), and would not expect customers to be shipping their vehicles across the country for warranty repair claims.

So, where can I get my vehicle serviced? Can I get it serviced at my local Porsche dealer? Perhaps having more information on the Platinum warranty would be helpful - maybe starting with which dealers/mechanics by state. If that’s available, please share. Personally, I’d like to call my local Porsche dealer/mechanic to confirm as well.
