I heard back from Troy Dietrich in Greenfield, MA. He informed me that he can only sell a Fidelity warranty "sight unseen" if the car is within the original Porsche 4/50 warranty. His email did seem to indicate (not entirely sure) that if I brought a car to his dealership outside of the 4/50 warranty, they might be able to inspect and warranty it.

I also tried the online warranty quote system from Steingold Volvo (Michael Bernardo, which was not pleasant. Very rudimentary, and the system sent me an annoying email afterward telling me I had made "a purchase". 12 hours later I received an email stating that no warranty was available for my car. I also sent Michael Bernardo a direct email with all the specifics asking him to prepare a quote for me. He left me a voicemail referencing the fact that the online system did not work for me.

I'll update more as I hear more.
If your vehicle is out of factory warranty, Troy cannot write a third party warranty without an inspection. No problem if you live near Boston. Very problematic if you do not. Try Michael Jourdan @ Mossy Motors.

From the moment I put the deposit on I knew that I'm getting a warranty since it's not a CPO car. Some research on Rennlist and I found the following respected resellers of the warranty:
1. Michael Jordan - mjourdan@mossymotors.com
2. Troy Dietrich - tdietrich@toyotaofgreenfield.com
2. Michael Bernardo - mbernardo1111@gmail.com
4. Sigve Friedle - sigve.friedle@audibeaverton.com

First things first I read so many good things about Michael Jordan, I e-mailed him and got a quote. I asked a few more questions and he patiently answered all of them over the phone. I expected pricing to be the same across the board so when I e-mailed Troy I was surprised to see that his pricing was a little better. The only caveat with Troy is that your car has to have an active manufacturer warranty in order for him to sell you the platinum warranty once the original warranty expires, he can also sell the warranty if you bring the car to his dealership which if my memory serves me right is in Boston. My car did not have an effective warranty and I wasn't about to drive to Boston with it so we couldn't work out a deal. Understanding that there is some wiggle room I contacted Michael Bernardo and Sigve, both of them gave me good offers until eventually I got the best offer from Sigve. It came to the point where he said that he's selling the warranty for $50 above cost.

I ended up paying: $5,379 for 5 years/60k miles/$100 Deductible.

I hope this thread helps new 911 members find the best cost warranty for their car so share your experiences here.
THANK YOU! exactly the information I was looking for!

Got mine today through Michael Bernardo as well. Super painless, quick and easy. I feel very relieved now as my factory warranty is expiring in 7/21 and I had no idea what I was going to do initially. Now I can definitely go back to enjoying the car

$3172 for 3yr/36k/250 ded, platinum. 2017 991.2 C2S with 25k miles.

thanks Michael!

Thanks Fullyield,

I emailed Michael Jourdan last Saturday. He responded on Sunday to say he would email me a quote on Monday. No quote received yet.

In follow up....

These are the emails for after market warranty candidates posted at the beginning of this thread:
1. Michael Jordan - mjourdan@mossymotors.com
2. Troy Dietrich - tdietrich@toyotaofgreenfield.com
2. Michael Bernardo - mbernardo1111@gmail.com
4. Sigve Friedle - sigve.friedle@audibeaverton.com

I have now received warranty quotes from MJourdan and MBernardo on a 2016 non CPO Cayenne S with just under 26k miles.

TDietrich advised that an inspection would be required.
SFriedle did not respond to my email.

Just fyi, the Fidelity plat warranty does NOT cover the sport chrono clock (even though it's more than just a regular clock and part of the PCM). Found that out today

Not sure, car is there for a few other things too and my SA told me the warranty won’t cover it. About $1500 installed. I said leave it be, I’ll pick up a used clock on eBay eventually.

Is it Platinum level policy? If so, I would them and challenge this.

I was under the impression that the Platinum policy was Exclusionary. How did Fidelity define the exclusion to you in their denial of coverage?
