As for the Q7, it's butt ugly but it's a fantastic driver - great engine (S4's) and handling, and carries 7. Couldn't replace it...

It's not just 991s... Our neighbor works at an Audi dealership - he told me they have very few new cars on the floor and nothing that lasts the day on the used car lot. The day !!! It's so bad he asked me point blank if we would sell my wife's Q7 back to them so they would have something to sell. He could offer $5K over their usual trade in... (zero reason for us to do that though)
Galactic shift in spending patterns, more cash on hand due to said shift and market returns, meme stonks etc (for those who were already doing well in life) and tons of down time/screen time/browse time... resulting in a "want-bubble" IMO

Dealer came back offering $85k – low, as I expected.
Do you all think it's reasonable in this market to expect more? Sounded like dealers were making crazy offers just to get something in inventory.

Multiple data sources/articles have confirmed that the used car market has already hit the peak and slightly come down. It will only keep going down until it normalizes.

We’ve hit the peak now it will just be a slow descend back down to normal which could take a year or who knows how long.
Yes the market is still “hot” but not what it used to be 30 days ago.

The 911 market has been hot for years, believe it or not... Maybe you can say there was a dip between January and May of 2020, but thats about it. While the general market might dip, 911's won't so much.
