Update!

The car was purchased less than a year ago from a Porsche AD and was a CPO.
I'm interested to see how this turns out

Thanks,

To those of you that did receive a letter / call, did your VIN show up on their website?

It's not a recall, that's why it doesn't show up there. It's a Service Workshop Campaign Bulletin.

Just call your closest dealer, give them your VIN, and they'll let you know. Takes all of 2 minutes.

The other one is probably the fuel tank leakage diagnostic module, right?

Had both heat shield and tank leakage module replaced last week. Now when fan is turned on (w/o AC) i smell gas in the cabin. Could that be related to the recall fix? Is there a direct connection with the air circulation or area where tech may have broken during recall work?

For those of you that got a discount on their air filters or plugs can you post a pic of the invoice? My dealer didn’t offer a penny off. I’m not surprised based on their customer service...but I would like to let Porsche of NA know this game is going on. I’m sure they won’t care but I will feel better when I move to another brand with a decent local dealer.

Cheers,
NF.

I supplied my own plugs and coils and also my own engine filter. They charged zero to install the engine filter as the bumper had to come off anyway for the heat shield. They charged me about $325 to put in the plugs and coils.
