I ran it through the link and it showed no open campaigns, but when I called the dealer and had the service manGer check, he confirmed both open for my car, you may want to make a phone call. This was today in the morning when I did both.

I emailed my Service Advisor yesterday, he quickly responded back that my car (2014 991S) is due both campaigns (WLA4- retrofit heat shield and WLC8- fuel tank diagnostic module), too. Strange, since both the Porsche website, and the MyCarFax app showed nothing. I'll have this done late in summer when I need an oil change. My car is still sitting in the garage from winter hibernation, awaiting the lifting and easing of the Stay At Home Orders.

Dealership says they need about 3-4 hours and will provide me a loaner car.

Yours is 991.2 correct? So are we saying that it includes 991.2 as well?

How long are these 2 Open Campaigns taking? 2 hours?

What should we ask/consider doing, during the heat shield fix? The 'while you're in there' stuff? I'm not ready for another 40K service yet, but I'm not opposed to paying, only for the parts, to have fresh engine air filters thrown into the airbox, while they have all that disassembled. What else, guys? My plugs and serpentine belt were already done 2 years ago (and not due yet on mileage).

My service manager said they will take "the better part of the day" so sounds like several hours. I have not yet scheduled, but will take care of it at some point.

I’m having them do the belt and filters while it’s torn apart. Dealer says the rear bumper has to come off, so I’ll let PCNA pay for that part😀

Mine 991.2 was manufactured in July 2016, so I guess its in there for just the heat shield. Maybe prioritized for later, I guess as the tank module is ok.

LOL... Thought just hit me. Porsche says this heat shield is a workshop fix, not a safety fix (whatever that means).
How many of you are getting other services done "while your car is there" that you'll be paying for out of pocket?

Sneaky way of helping the dealerships? I could be really reaching here, but...

My dealership said 3 to 4 hours and offered to replace the air filter for $125 while they were "in there".

My car only has 17k on it and the filter was checked/replaced recently so I passed.

Today I received a notification from the dealer today that there is an open recall on my vehicle related to hear shields, Curious what other had heard, and opinions in general. Thanks
They just did mine. I was in there for something else and since it's early they had the parts ready to go.

Homeless, are you due plugs yet? Might be a good time for that, too?
