My OEM stone guards are already yellowing and peeling (13 mos, 5k miles, parked indoors 7 days a week), but its hot here...
Poll time, agate grey stone guards? Too much? Forgive the horrible photoshop.
Easy one for me. Clear.
Also, the stone guards on my 991.1 got pretty grungy around the edges. I was able to clean them up nicely with some paint cleaner and using my fingernails to get the towel up against the edges.
If yours are truly yellowing due to exposure, obviously won't help.

The OEM clear stone guards brand is 3M, it starts to get yellow color after 2 years. The best solution for this is to go with a Suntek PPF custom cut. It will last longer.
In my opinion, Clear, Agate Gray or Black Stone Guards combine perfectly with the T.
It is a matter of personal choice.
the 3 options:
* The Clear stone guards, of course, because they are invisible, do not interfere with the OEM aspect of the car, keeping a clean and smooth visual effect, it is an OEM # Porsche part.
*Gray agate stone guards look great and will match mirrors, badges, OEM side decals, rear grill and wheels. The glossy texture, with time it will turn a little matte because are exposed to splashing of sand and rocks . It is not a Porsche OEM option.
* Black stone guards bring that retro look of Speedsters and 930s, the superior thickness and satin texture matches windows trims , rear valance, front spoiler and front air intake fins. Do not match with OEM side decals. It is an OEM Part # Porsche. (2 shapes=997 or 991)
