Hi folks! lately, I've been looking for a nice exhaust tips for my Carrera T, and I think Singer-Williams use this retro look exhaust Tips, so I made little Photoshop to see how it looks, and I really like it ! So I am thinking to custom make one set for me with a very good local exhaust specialist . I have a purist friend who told me, "don’t do it", because is like saying "I AM TUNED", anyway , I would like to know your valuable opinions, ( I liked, I hated, or whatever) ! Thanks for your thoughts and help !.

I love these. Would really like to see the finished product.
I’ve been waffling on the Soul 4” tips because I don’t love the flared look. It feels very artificial. BUT you can’t have a same-size extension of the PSE pipes because the cutouts in the lower fascia are too large.

This seems to bridge the gap.
You read my mind !! It's exactly what I think! The nice thing the 991.2 still has, is that it doesn't have those fake exhaust tips that came on the 992...but anyway, I think the oval, rounded shape is more focused on a Fancy look, and not a thoroughbred Porsche look.
In the 991.2, the tubes coming out of the muffler have a diameter of 65mm (about 2.5 "), and it will make a lot of technical sense to use the same diameter to match the inner tube of the custom tip, with an outer diameter of 3.5" ,so the gap between both walls will be approximately between 3/8” to 1/2”.
I think brushed SS or Satin Black could be good option.
Your car, your rules. I like your color choices too. I think the Singer version are a bit showy, given the color they use. A non car person won’t even notice. A car person doesn’t need a color change to see the difference. Good luck!
Looks nice but I would want the inner tube to extrude 1/2” like the singer. I can be wrong but I think the design comes from aircraft wing machine guns where inner pipe is the barrel and outer is cooling sheet.
Some Photoshop with 3.5" Exhaust Tips , BBI Style (Singer-Williams) , in order to see how it looks some materials and colors options .
Satin Black
Stainless Steel
Titanium
Satin black 3.5” looks great.
