First time on track with this car. Stock brakes minus fluid. No fade, but lots of heat, cooked the rotor hats pretty good. Was trapping 10km\h faster into turn one compared to my c7 GS

Having a drink in the garage and appreciating how good life is!

….man 6 year service …..time flys ….feels like I just bought my 2019 but realized it’s over 4 years old now.

They sometimes fail from use/age, and other times people break them when removing or installing them. Either way, the car will run rough and throw a code.

Hi,

My mechanic only knew that new bolts/coil packs were needed when he removed the old ones.

I believe new spark plugs are recommended at 4 years, but my T was just over 5 years old when mine were done, so that didn’t help.

In fairness, he had warned me beforehand that the bolts are prone to failure/breaking.

He said he’s greased the new bolts when he refitted them, so hopefully failure/breaking will be less likely next time...

Yeah, mine was technically a 6 year service, but done at just over 5 years old (due to high mileage pre-Covid). Now had my T (from new) for 5 years and 2 months. 47,000 happy smiles/miles.
