Hope you're celebrating the 4th in that car for many years to come! That's exciting.

Thanks, the story is even cooler - I won the PCA raffle for the Carrera T and was able to switch to a GTS since I already owned a 2017 base 991.2.

I sat in a new 911 T and just loved the sport-Tex! Seems It will avoid the sweaty leather and you get “free” Deviated stitching
medias116, thanks for sharing your build

However, you have complicated matters by suggesting an alternative interior!?! I took a look on the configurator and Sportex looks better than expected. I need to check it out in person, but from the configurator it looks like the pattern ties in well with the carbon fiber trim.

One question I have is about dash and door trim. Based on the configurator it looks like both the dash and door also get matching deviated stitching, is that correct? Also does the dash and door trim become leather? My SA is not the most informed so I am hoping you or someone else is able to confirm.

Thanks again

Does anyone know if there will be ANY changes with our 2019 builds? Even minor ones?

I think everything after 7/1 is a '19.

My SA advised no changes including the price... I guess that suggests no "free upgrades"

He had mentioned earlier in the year that there might be some interior changes on 2019's but that didn't materialize. It really didn't make sense to me, why would Porsche change something on the end of run 991.2 when the 992 is slated for interior changes (Panamera style dash, console)

My SA told me the same: the online configurator is for the 2019s and no changes. I have a deposit on a Targa but no allocation as of yet.

Sportex interior with silver deviated stitching
dash gets leather with the matching silver deviated stitching and door as well. The trim (on the door and under the dash) is an option and I picked CF.

i have not seen it in person so maybe someone who has it can confirm but this video has 2 cars (from 3.1s) with interiors on black/silver sport-Tex and seems to confirm my thoughts
