911 T owners club
#5281
So I finally crossed 30,000 miles on my way home from work yesterday afternoon. This really got me thinking about the past 3 years and 8 months and how amazing this car has been for me.
I ordered this T as my "perfect" car due to my affinity for driving by myself. This not only includes commuting but also canyon driving and track days. I kept the options to a minimum and had a few plans before I even took possession of the car! I kept that to a minimum as well because I usually go overboard and I wanted to keep close to stock with tasteful mods to hopefully make this a long term car. So far so good! The mods I made were a Brembo BBK, DSC controller, a tune, Musicar NW speaker upgrade, clear corner markers, LWBS inserts and that's about it.
So after 30k miles it still does all I want it to do and more! I have had a ton of fun since purchase to include numerous track days, a high speed run, canyon carving and even commuting. It's just great! It's such a good do it all car for me.
Since I purchased it I was able to save up and get a 991.2 GT3 to add to the garage. I often compare the two even though they are completely different cars. The biggest difference being that the T is a manual and the GT3 is PDK. Without going into all the reasons and details suffice it to say that if I had to pick between the two I would keep the T over the GT3. The T is such a nice balance for me that it just checks all the boxes. Since I got the GT3 the T has been relegated to mostly commuting duty but it still makes me happy each time I get in it and I feel luck to be able to drive a 911 almost every day.
I can't see myself selling this car anytime soon. There's just nothing out there that gets me excited like a 911 does and more specifically, the way my T does. For anyone out there looking for a T, keep looking until you find one, you wont be disappointed!! I cant wait to write my 60,000 mile review!!! Here are a few pics for attention....

21.9 MPG! There's a few track days in that time as well. Awesome!

1.44 GS? Do you have any suspension mods, wheel spacers or other mods to get this number?
I’ve got mps4s and get about 1.1 easily on street driving the occasional hard turn. But never really pushed it.

I actually got those numbers on Cup 2's. The confusion may have come in due to the picture I posted. Those were PS4S but I'm back on Cup 2's now. I was taking the car to the track a lot more in first few years. The last 8 months, not so much. The meaningful mods I have are a tune, a Brembo GT BBK, and a DSC controller for the suspension. The DSC really helped my lap times! It gives you a ton of confidence in the car without any other suspension mods. Those numbers came from Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump Nevada. I'm a member out there and go as often as possible.

that scarcity will keep the prices up on the Carrera T models for awhile yet.

Morning All,
My new ride I picked up about 6 weeks ago.
2019 911 T MSRP $102,100 Retail $120,130 with the extras.
It's not the purest car, but I could not be happier with it.
This will be our coastal cruiser for the summer.
Little info on my purchase that may help some of you or not.
Purchase price was $116,996 with 11,150 miles.
Car is under remaining factory warranty for 13 months plus they included a CPO for 2 years. ( not sure on the value of the CPO )
There was a additional $3,200 work to the car to bring it to CPO included in price.
They also included enclosed shipping to my front door, roughly $1,600 value.
Just had the EXPEL PPF front, sills, quarters and complete ceramic coating completed.
I will be looking for some help on exhaust mods soon, thanks and have a great weekend!!
Had to get my first post in lol.
2019s are unicorns in this market —well bought.

Installed my numeric racing shifter cables this weekend and while everything was apart I took some time to do two things that bothered me with the t-spiral stitched the shift boot and painted the “911” red to tie in with the red carerra t interior package.
Before
After (used a toothpick to apply)
Starting
Done.
Installed-also wrapped the side panels in Alcantara.

I’ve only taken it for one drive so far and I kept the stock short shifter (numeric shifter sits a bit higher than the t/gt4 shifter). Honestly it’s not a night and day difference imo. Certain gears feel tighter to go into (2,3 and 5) but other than that it’s nothing noticeable. Install was a pain and I consider myself pretty handy. For me, the piece of mind these cables give over the stock ones are worth it. I recall the gt4 cables snap and can leave you stranded (not sure if that’s also an issue on the 991). Hope this helps.

Np. @Tier1Terrier has the shifter alone and is semi local. We will swap cars one day so we can check out the differences. In the meantime I did more spiral stitching on the rear seat
Imo this should have had deviated stitching with the carerra t interior package
Better.
