Titan 7 wheels (21.6f / 22.9r): -40lbs

Antigravity Battery: -30lbs

I would guess aftermarket catless downpipes would save around 10lbs...

Has anyone ever gotten to the magical sub 3000?

I am going to try to get it on the scales this week to get weight before making any changes. My old car was 3394lbs...

If anyone wants to trade wheels, Carrera T "Sport Classic" for the regular Carrera T style LMK.
Congrats! Our T's are virtually identical except for the wheels.

I just went to the scales with a full tank, 3244lbs. I went to two different places to confirm reading. How is it 100lbs heavier than the listed curb weight?

Car does have full body PPF, was guessing ~10lbs.

That sounds on the heavy side, relatively speaking. Car & Driver listed their manual test car at 3220lbs (buckets, RAS, standard brakes). Their testing procedures states weight is measured with a full tank of fuel which is roughly 104lbs for the standard 64L/16.9 USgal tank (only one offered in North America on the 991.2 T I believe). With PCCB's that should be roughly 3190ish lbs.

EDIT: My car with standard 4-way seats, RAS, manual, Bose, fire extinguisher, and nothing else weighed 1470kg/3240lbs on a local scale with a full tank of fuel.

Anything in the frunk other than what came with the car?

Nope, empty. Original battery. The fire extinguisher is probably a couple pounds? Then Sport Classic wheels and the PPF? Maybe the PS4S are heavier than the Pirelli?

I screwed up, its 3233lbs

I added 5.5 gallons of gas after weighing, and thought it was 8lb per gallon, not 6. At 16.9 gallons its 101.4 lb of fuel.

Default Goodbye T Friends 🤝

Hi T Army. It's been a while since my last post. On Christmas Eve, '22, I was in an accident on my bike and broke my neck, becoming a quadriplegic. I have regained the majority of function in my shoulders and arms but still have limited functionality in my hands. I picked up a DSG Golf R a couple mos ago which has been great - the Golf seats and my chair height are nearly identical which makes transferring relatively doable with a spot from my wife. Next goal will be working towards getting into that drivers seat and taking some lessons with hand controls.

All that said, I am saying goodbye to my T. Paralyzed from the waist down a manual doesn't make much sense anymore, and the seat height is just too low for transferring in and out. As I don't have the ability to show the car off successfully, I'm working with a local consigner here in Scottsdale to sell the car - I sold another P car with him in the past and the transaction was fair and smooth. Please DM me if interested and I can put you in touch with the consinger.

She's not the hero/ethos spec that people here talk about, but I spec'd her and built her for me, not the next guy... I planned to keep her forever. Here's the info:

I'm so sorry to hear about your story. Keep persevering - I hope you make continued progress towards recovery.

P.s. as sequence 620/620 for 2019, is this the last 991.2 T produced for the U.S.?

Once apart of the T family, always apart of the T family! Hope it goes to a future owner who enjoys it as much as you did. Glad you're still able to drive brother, enjoy the Golf R and wish you the best in your recovery.
