Got the M3 in the background as a 4 door car that was more practical and to be able to put the little kids in on the weekends. The M3 is now sold and I decided to come back to my Porsche roots with the T (my Father restores 356's for a living and has done so his whole life). My Dad and I went down to the PEC LA and did the Master the Manual course with the T for his 70th Bday present last July and we both thought it was a blast and a really fun car.

Couple questions for you T owners after my initial 2 days of ownership

1. After going out for some short drives around town, when I get back and park the car, I hear some random pops and crackles from the rear a good 10 mins after it's been turned off. Is this normal or what causes this? I know I have heard this on other cars but just curious.

2. I don't think the T came standard with black LED headlights and tinted tails, but how do I tell? I am pretty sure my headlights are black even though they weren't mentioned on the spec or build sheet. How do I tell if I have the tinted tails?

3. The stock T brakes, I am assuming the caliper size is the same as the normal S car with the reds, but the T's are just not painted or powder coated? Same Rotor size as the S as well?

Appreciate the feedback and insight from the experienced owners.

1.) Normal expansion and contraction of metal when hot.
2.) Neither were standard.
3.) The brakes are the same as standard on the base Carrera. The S brakes with the red calipers are larger.

that's just the temperature changing in the exhaust. the metal expanding and contracting due to heat. it means you're driving it right. if it sounds like clunking you have a probably, but you wouldn't hear that when the car is stationary.

tinted tails the red part is also slightly darkened. not a bright red.

I enjoy listening to the pops and crackles with a cold beer while I sit and enjoy the view of my T after a drive. Wife thinks I have issues but I don’t care.....

does anyone knows what would be the correct TPMS wheel sensor for a 2019 T? it appears to be two different options available, 315 or 433 MHZ, appreciate any advice, thanks

Shoot us a PM with your vehicle's VIN and we'll be happy to confirm.

Default Base wheels from 992 on a 991.2T?

Wondering if the 20/19 inch wheels from the base 992 fit on the T.

I figure the 19s are lighter than the 20 I have in the front now.

plus it’ll drop the front slightly, help with aero, etc.

thanks in advance.

very unlikely given the offsets on the rear to accommodate widebody versus T narrowbody.

Long story short, pulled the trigger on this a few weeks ago, and was somewhat hesitant on color since I gravitate towards brighter colors and was looking for a Miami Blue one. A Miami Blue one has now popped up, so thought I’d see if anyone would be interested. Most likely will keep but thought I'd at least put the feeler out there. Looking for 96k.

2018 Porsche Carrera T. 7800 miles.
Manual Transmission with sports Chrono
GT Silver Metallic
LED Headlights
Full Leather T interior Package with the sofa seats (keep’s the backseats available)
Sports Design Front Bumper

Here is the VIN for the build/option list...

Let me know if anyone is interested or has additional questions. Also posted in the Marketplace.
