I agree with @supercroc , I would suggest a test drive. I do miss my 718 and even the Flat 4 sound. I was stopped at a traffic light the other day next to an old 1600 Speedster, the sound of that Flat 4 at idle reminded me of my 718. Other thoughts, the mid engine 718 inspires confidence from day 1 , whereas in the T took a little time. Probably due to the fact of going from mid engine to rear engine. However, with Rear Active Steering, it’s uncanny how the T handles hairpin turns in the canyons. It feels like it turns on a dime.

You should take your wife to test drive the 2017 718S with Chrono & PASM, it's the underdog of the line up. And it will save you tons of money

With an exhaust, air filter and APR tune the car was estimated to have 405 to 410 wheel hp. It was a blast to drive

I let the Boxster go because of seating/health issues, the 991.2 gave me the room and adjustment of the seat that I needed

I will say both cars are completely different and both should be test driven for a few hours and not 10mins

I wish your wife luck as both cars are great

Thanks for all the great replies. Wish I had a GTS and a T near me to drive again. Only thing that concerns me is the 4 pot in the GTS as my last Porsche was a GT4.

I’m happy to be able to join the 911T owners club!

I scored a 7000 mile CPO Carrara White manual with RAS, SportDesign front bumper, Carerra Sport Wheels, and 4WSS!

First impression is that it feels way more nimble than my 991.1 C2S. Car sounds great too!

Hey folks - we just launched DeepView on VIN Analytics with a special dashboard just for our beloved Carrera T! It’s in beta at the moment.

Have a look and let us know your feedback - enjoy! Link below:

Love it-this is awesome! Been thinking of creating a numbered badge (for example mine would be #31/1041) for the dash similar to the 911R...curious when the number will "finalize" for the T as there seem to be a few that are unaccounted for here and there...

We (I) INTERRUPT the regularly scheduled programing to announce:

I am GOING to the TRACK this WEEKEND! ...With my brand new Big Brake Kit (from AP Racing).

(Sort of excited)

If I am not back Monday, please find me and flip me back over.

Very cool! Thanks!

It was interesting to note only 173 were produced with LWBS. For some reason I thought it would be higher..... Awesome stuff though.
