I'm looking to make my first Porsche purchase and noticed that both the T and GTS have the same tire sizes of 245/35/20 and 305/35/20, which is why I was asking. I guess even though the wheels sizes are the same, the offsets must be different if the T is a narrow body

Yes, same tire size but I think the GTS run 0.5 inch wider rims both front and rear.

Hey guys, just bought my first Porsche on Saturday. Its a lightly used and well spec'd 2019 Carrera T in white. I pick it up tomorrow or Tuesday and will spam the T picture thread with shots!

He just says that every time someone talks about their new white car - since that's the color he has. Of course he is mistaken, because *everyone* knows that yellow is the fastest color, and GT Silver is the most classic color. But, having come from white colors to my GT Silver, I do miss how good white looks, and how easy it is to keep clean.

to your point, i came from white also to GT Silver.... i find GT Silver very easy to keep clean, and it just looks more gray when dirty. bigger issue with GT Silver to me is normally silver hides minor paint defects well, i think GT Silver amplifies them. because the fleck/metallic is so fine, it has so much depth, so even the slightest rock chip or anything can be seen from 5-6 feet away. white is really tough to get depth out of and keep it that way. carrara white metallic on the other hand is cool.

GT Silver is a very classy and classic 911 colour.
Racing Yellow is definitely the fastest!
White 911s look really cool.
(So far, my Porsches have been Rhodium Silver, Platinum Silver, Carmine Red and Racing Yellow. My yellow T is my favourite so far!)

I don’t know if I can agree on the colors above. I almost bought yellow but just couldn’t pull the trigger (despite the obvious speed advantage). Miami Blue was made for the T. All the grays break up the portions of blue perfectly. I’ve received countless “perfect color” remarks.
plus I saved weight by not having metallic paint
