That looks like my dealership! Are you getting the whole car PPF? or just the front?
I have front PPF and considering getting the rest of the car done now before I regret. How much did PFS quoted you if you don't mind me asking? (PM me!)
This is Porsche of Fremont. I am doing right now PPF Xpel on "full nose" + A Pillars + Rockers + Doors. I am also doing ClearPlex for the windshield as I am really fed up with rock chips in the SF Bay Area (basically I got a rock chip around 15 days for every time I got a new car, and then a few others chips down the road).
I am not doing "full body" Xpel because that is way more expensive, more intrusive to the car (they have to "open" plenty of parts of the car which can lead to some issues like squeaking noises) and takes more time to do it. I have seen them doing that on a GT Silver manual 911 T and I was feeling, gloup gloup I am not willing them to "open" my car like that.
I am also doing a Glanz wax (not ceramic coating). I will see a bit later if I am doing the ceramic coating.
I’m in the same camp. I don’t have the time, energy or mental capacity to obsess over the little things. Having this mentality has actually allowed me to enjoy my T 10x more than worrying about every little thing.
Best part about it? Not a single scratch/ding etc to date and I’m at 4K miles.

Got it. I got a quote from PFS for the full wrap and it is quite expensive. I'm just a bit concern getting rock chip by the wheel arches. Then again, I'm probably overly obsessed.

Agree that the "full body" is super expensive. The quote for me was $6500 before tax (tax only on parts not on labour) and $2600 for "full nose". That is a huge difference.
They have rocker panels and some arch too as options. You can decide exactly what you want and optimize your cost. Worth contacting them and going over there to talk with Albert.

I'm getting a full wrap on my '19 Cayenne with Suntek Ultra for a less than $6500 at Invisiguard in SJ so I'm assuming the 991 will be less. Ask for Jeremy, he has done a few 991's and does great work.
I did not do a clear bra on the front, mainly due to indecision on where to stop/start....
At 5k glorious miles, I have some chips on the front, nothing on the sides, I think the front attracts a lot of rocks, but w/o spacers the sides look pretty good so far.....
If I had it do all over again, I would do the front and not worry about where the edge-line hits on the hood.
I did hood, bumper, front fenders & mirrors. I asked to roll it under and it was like $2,400 @ my dealer. It has worked well so far as do at least one rally a month. Following close on back roads has made my bottom plastic lip almost look sand blasted. I have ordered a new one and will get it put on at my 10k service. Currently have 8500 miles and love this car. I don,t recall how it felt stock as I switched out the cats and pipe with akrapovic at 300 miles. Making 383 whp now so same as an S only more fun did ceramic coating on the wheels the first week for $125 a wheel as I have the 5 spoke option wheel and its awesome. I clean the inside with ease just wipe and all dust is gone.

I decided to not do PPF at all on this car (other than leaving in-place the factory clear panels in front of the rear wheels). That decision has actually made the whole "drive it, love it, and not worry/obsess about each little nick" a lot easier. Definitely getting small chips, windshield strikes, and some rash along the rockers. But it is giving her character and I don't mind doing my own paint correction, etc. Had I done a limited color, different call probably, but White makes it an easier fix as well.

I did the same ... nothing ... and completely agree.
Coating it would be the same as what my parents and their friends did with their furniture.
Its a wonderful car and beat all my expectations so far. but I can’t be that ocd/stressed about driving it on roads/highways everyday.
