I am in the second batch and patiently waiting. I got a message saying they would be out "early this week".

Mine didn't originally ship with the first bath because I ordered a carbon fiber spoiler to go with it, so had to wait for that to be made as well. Guess it might've been a blessing in disguise but I should have it all within a week or so.

I also ordered inner carbon door sills. I'm in no rush.

Carbolution can we kindly have an update please? For 4-5 months of the year SWMBO uses her car regularly at 200mph at weekends. Quality issues aside as soon as I heard the use of glue or tape I'm nervous. Are they going to stay on the car when she's doing 205mph? VMAX the car regularly and potentially embarrassing/dangerous bits flying off the car.

Are vents there size of the originals or slightly larger as this might cause a slight amount of drag?

Just received my new driver side vent. Looks much better, resin has been taken care of and smoothed out. Also came with extra double sided tape. I’ll install soon

For all those that receive them, please, please take pictures and post! I expect I'm not the only one watching this thread to see the final product before jumping in the pool.

We strongly suggest getting them to install by the shop, but if there are no shops you can source nearby please make sure the surface is clean thoroughly and well with alcohol and USE adhesion promoter to enhance the bond between the surface and the tape.

One thing I noticed when I removed the OEM vent was how it has clips on two sides. But the ones from carbonlution only has clips on one side, and the other has double sided tape. Seeing this I was curious if other manufactures did the same thing. I contacted DB Carbon and they sent me a photo of theirs, which is the 2nd photo. I noticed the have all the oem clips and use the double sided tape as well. This is just something I noticed, I will be installing my vents today though hopefully fitment is well.

The glue was a pain to get off, but a razor worked well so long as your hand is steady.

THE FIT IS EXCELLENT!
PLUG N PLAY!
Very well done @Carbonlution

Install tip:
1)Alcohol wipe area.
2) angle intake such that clips are close to where they snap in. (Keeping 3M tape away from body)
3) understand the 3M tape garbs quick and hard!
4) push to snap in then press where 3M tape is. DONE!

They sent me extra tape but didn’t need it. That sucker isn’t gunna move! No gaps, flush all around. Yay!

Some residual glue, you won’t need glue.
dirty car, been raining in ABQ a ton, she’s not a garage queen
