They were fussy. Greased the splines and they got better, but want to try different nuts to see if they are the problem. That's been added to the To Do List.

That is majorly impressive. ProMod power just a few years ago. My blue car at 1700ish went 184 in the 1/4. That is plus 200mph power in the 1/4 !!!!!

What are the engine specs to hold that much rotational power. Rods must look like tree stumps !! lol.

bought it bone stock about 18 months ago.

at first i did the most power i could make on stock rods, it made 1902 , then i built the motor and let it eat. luckily the OG turbo package i went with was enough so i didnt have to change them. they are GT42's.

i took it to the hoonigan this vs that deal and i was supposed to race rob dahm in his 4 rotor but he bent a driveshaft so i got to race bad daddy braddy in his bucket. this was on the stock motor and it was still WAY too much power for a dusty air strip.

poor brad had no business in that race but it made for good comedy considering dahm screwed the pooch. i'd have like to smoke the mazda.

it went 2.88 on the street at 6000ft in denver. at the track i think it could go 2.3-2.4 according to the tuner.
