Yeah - its raining here in LA and my daughter is back from college and "needs" a car. So I lent her the Land Rover and have been driving the Turbo to work in the rain. Which I wouldn't have ordinarily done. But you know what - its still fun in the rain. You get lulled into thinking its only a fair weathered car. At this point, its not a museum piece by any stretch - so use it more often.
@Dennis C Bingo! I was a bit nervous the first time I took it skiing but it's such a non-event. The car is unflappable with snow tires and is just as much fun as it is in every other setting. Only added step is spraying off the road grime on the way home.

I used to take my 996 C4S coupe skiing, and it worked equally well. I put winter tires on my 991 TTS, but I can’t put a roof rack on a cabriolet.
I agree with you; 911s are great in the snow when properly equipped.
Left mine at home and took the 'other' boxer out ...
Defi gauges....wow, I was hanging around a shop back in the day that did A LOT of Subaru work and mods and Defi was always the gauge of choice.
Brings back memories.
