Today is a rainy gloomy day, ... the car deserved a good polish rub down.

Note: I gave the clear markers some extra attention also.

7.3 gasser? The 10 speed sold me on not going diesel. My wife and I are looking at 10 acres and I am going to need to pull a tractor. My 150 wasn’t up for it.

No, a 6, 6.4 and a 6.7...

Diesel torque is very addictive.

agreed, this is my first 3/4 ton that is gas. It is strange to have no whistle driving it. Looks like Tarzan but sounds like Jane. May need to fix that.

It can hit 600hp with minimal work; a nice exhaust will make it sound the business.

I did a little reading before I went gas. It sounds like the lower end is solid to 1100hp. I read where they sell this as a crate motor. I couldn’t help but wonder about putting it into a Miata!

As long as the issue with them blowing up has been solved, I believe you can make a good runner out of it - get it through the first 1000 miles before you do much to it.

Garage time installing my Christmas present to myself...

QRT-C Performance for the passenger side to match the drivers seat I installed a few months ago.. This one is going in on all Sparco hardware: Base plate, sliders, and QRT specific side plates. Still need to finalize the belt receptacle placement, either on the base plate or drill a hole on the side plate.

Loving these seats so far! They look *perfect* in the 996 Turbo, Carbon fiber back and italian leather/Alcantara cover . Really hold you in, but not as deep of a bucket as some other race seats I've tried so getting in and out isn't ridiculous, especially since don't have a removable steering wheel.

I'll take some more pictures once finished.

Whoops! Sorry, just realized I posted the above in the 991 Turbo thread instead of the 996 Turbo thread.... Oh well, enjoy anyway!

Here's some 991 Turbo content from the other day to make up for it?
