Yeah, I give their critique about as much weight as you do...

@MotoJB Looks like the new/current owner has had his fun and is now trying to make a few grand.

When I ran the VIN from the ebay ad, the build only showed a sticker of $184k.

I just noticed that MotoJB's old car has a red faced tachometer, but the other instrument dials are black? I wonder if he replaced just the tach with a red face and left the others black, or was that an OEM option?

I believe that is replaced. I would like to change the dial face too, but can't seem to find a Turbo S face.

Finally fixed my boost leaks. Those vacuum lines are extremely pesky. Got em in snug and zip tied them tight. I must have blown a hose or vacuum line 4 different times before I finally got it dialed in.

Did some runs with a passenger. Should be in the 9's riding solo and fine tuning the 93 map.

Wonder what it would run at sea level

All on the same launch, says this one is invalid.

OEM installed lines. The clear ones. They had been giving me issues since I bought the car bone stock. My whole ride home when I purchased the car from Vegas to Phoenix had a line that was not connected and was only pushing 12psi. The main culprits were/was the line that mounts on top of the air box into the T fitting that runs perpendicular to the other two which go to the diverter valves. Once that was fixed the lines kept disconnecting at the 90 degree elbows located on both sides at the edge of the airbox which connect to the DV's.

Edit: On a side note, man oh man is it ever so convenient not having the rear bumper mounted. Nearly everything is visible and it's all easy access... Dare I say that it looks badass too?

Super glue helps keeping those connections on and in place, that T always loves to pop right off.

I've driven with the bumper off for like 2 months. With the big intake filters, BOV on Y pipe, and loud exhaust, it gets all the attention and everyone would just take pictures while sitting at a red light LOL.

Bogus. I really like PDK Paddle Neutral. More than I dislike reaching over to the center console to turn up the volume.

Oh well.

Changed oil and filter- going to try the Driven DI40 oil. Usually use Mobil 1 5-50 here in the summer when it is REALLY warm. Somehow 0-40 seems a little thin when it's over 110!

Even having to take off the two small fans etc to gain access to the filter is a breeze compared to my neighbor's 718 Boxster S- offered to help him change his oil/filter figuring a 4 cylinder would be easy. WRONG! PITA. The filter is nearly impossible to get to, even after removing half the undercarriage and a leveling sensor off the driver's side rear suspension to gain access.

Minor editions over the last few months.

CF extensions to paddles. Wish there was an option to just change to CF paddles on the .1. Also added the CF shifter cover.

Added NM Automotive unit for Android Auto and Car play. I am so glad I did this and very happy with it. Having Waze on the navi screen is just so convenient, and everything else is a bonus. Total install time was an hour. Super easy and just follow all the directions to the very end.

Earlier this week I ordered some new goodies from Sam. Will post that in a couple weeks. All I can say is that it is boost weather .

Now, if anyone can guide me to where I can find a tach display face in red with Turbo S font, that would be fantastic. I can't seem to find it.
