I would love to hear an in person sound difference you describe with and without the headers.

Turned out one of my intercoolers had a load of oil from what was likely an overfill. The new collets plus cleaning up the old mess have made a huge hit in the butt dyno. The CSF intercoolers are beautiful. Next step is to install Cobb stage then work with to tweak it to get max efficiency and power.
I wonder if your butt dyno results have more to do with the headers than the intercoolers? Unless you changed the tune at the same time, I’m not sure the intercoolers by themselves (with no tuning adjustments) will make a material difference in power compared to the stock intercoolers. As some have said in other threads, one of the main benefits from upgraded intercoolers on this platform is their capacity to delay heat soak beyond the point at which you would get heat soak from OEM units. Thus, more aggressive tuning can be run with the upgraded units. But the headers might improve spool and mid range improvements - do you detect that benefit when you drive?

I’m really interested in this because my next mods are Kline headers (to complement my catless Kline exhaust) and IPD plenum.

On Point. The stock IC's are more than capable on a stock tune. I ran back to back passes pure stock , pure stock tune logging the IC and ET and it stayed solid. 6.7 at 105mph in the 1/8th over and over within a minute of each launch. IAT would rise around 22F at the end of each pass and recover by the time I turned around and restaged. Stock IC's are very good for pure stock cars.

Beat her up then cleaned her up.

Check out the sexy wheel gap/orange side marker combo...

I think the only thing you're missing in that pic is a set of BFG All Terrain T/As to close up that gap.

Then, you'll be good to go.

(White sidewalls out, of course...)

In all honesty, that's such a great tire. My #1 go to for trucks/SUV's E rated 10 ply

I only suggested some new rubber would complete the look.

Perhaps some big light bars (in orange) would help too.

Didn't it have some massive fuel tank in it?

I'd be surprised if you could fit a six pack in there...

I’ll need to add a tow hitch so it can pull a little trailer then.

Someone with mad photochop skilz should gen-up the 991 version of that!
