Almost pulled the trigger on a trade. Held off. Deep deep down inside I began to feel empty, sad, and felt depressed for several hours. This car is too good. All Ferrari/Lambo shopping does is further expose how much better the 911 Turbo S is. Yeah I know, it's missing the exotic looks and sound... But the Kline inconel is nothing to scoff at and sounds exotic in of itself at higher RPM... The daily usage, practicality and being invisible to the public are all 10/10's... The exotics are a compromise... Guilt was a large feeling as well... Growing up with nothing humbles me a lot and makes me feel selfish for owning nice cars... A feeling I wish I could overcome because I'd have both.

"Convoyed" about 120 miles round trip in the TT with a friend of mine with a Gallardo to a low-key C&C a couple of weeks ago. On the trip, the "Stupid" from other drivers that the Gallardo attracted was ... stupefying. Made it crystal clear that driving a Lambo and owning a Lambo are two very different contexts. If I was to ever get one, I'd need to get it wrapped in a pavement color "Road Camo" print so that I could drive it without attracting Stupid.
The salesman was open and honest so I gave him a piece of my mind too... Told him I felt like a clown whose "jestering" to the world.. Clearly that's not what I'm trying to do and my intentions are purely for personal enjoyment. However in our society that's not what a loud mid engine exotic says. The salesman understood my words. Thanked him and apologized for wasting his time.
I still enjoy being the low key guy dusting Huracan's with Instagram stickers all over them. It's happened, and it felt good punishing that toxic driver behind the wheel who needs to try and tell the world "look at me". It was a young chick, she egged me on and regretted it. She took an immediate right turn into an empty parking lot.
In a perfect world, I'd probably be driving the mid engine exotic. In this world, I can't bring that attention upon myself. I'm 32 and don't see this view changing as I get older.

I've got an amazing girl friend that does most of that. I just ate a great meal she cooked when I got home from the range.
She doesn't wash the cars / truck though. lol
She takes good care of me and that's why she doesn't have to work full time, because I take care of the rest.
