They have to compete with people that value their own time at zero (or don’t even think about it) so they can’t be a lot more expensive than the alternatives.
Yes, tried them both. I'm too far out.

On another related note, I recently switched from OEM exhaust/cats to Kline 70mm with Kline De-cat pipes and I am so pleased with the civility when at part throttle (no louder than stock IMHO) but it is so satisfying at WOT. I do plan to upgrade to Kline headers as well (although no plans to upgrade turbos just yet), and will be anxious to hear the difference (if any?).
I did headers and exhaust at the same time, so I can't comment directly on the headers alone, but it did smooth out the boxer rumble a good bit.

Don't worry, no drinks were spilled in the making of that photo. It was for comedic effect. If I'm at the track or in the mountains and must have a beverage, of course I use my "ultimate cupholder" https://www.ultimatecupholders.com/
I think that would likely depend on their internal risk assessment as to whether or not the swap would exceed the cost of doing said swap versus replacing the active aero.
If it doesn't, you may be able to make a case for it.

I was mostly joking, I don’t believe insurance companies operate like that, only like for like as I understand it.

...ad to take the car down to the dealer....they gave me a Macan s, truck, but quick truck.
I asked for the GT2rs.... They said no.
I also am in the shop with the 991... Mostly minor warranty items that I've been meaning to take care of.
I asked for a Taycan, they said yes.
Way nicer than the Tesla's I've driven. Really zero adjustment to driving an electric vehicle other than not having to wait in line at Costco for fuel and needing to plug it in once or twice a week at night. Not giving up my 'real' Turbo's for one anytime soon though.
I am suitably impressed with the 'truck' they supplied, however, I wold have also taken a Taycan Turbo, if for no other reason to solidify my feelings on electron powered anythings.
Also in the shop for a funny fuel reading - car is full, says its empty, and the power memory function doesn't remember anything.
But, I have a truck... perhaps I should see how it does off road...
