But please, carmarkers, for the love of God, stop with the piano black interiors
I think EV's as true sports cars have a LONG way to go, but as daily drivers for those that would otherwise buy a luxury sedan, they are ready for prime time.

The 296 GTB, on the the other hand, looks like it could be an epic car. Though not full EV.

My dealer doesn’t have enough loaners evidently and all they gave me was an Uber ride home
That sucks... My dealer does loaners, but you will wait far longer for a service appointment if you request/require one. I think it was three weeks this last time? Fine for routine service and you can drive your car while waiting , not ideal if you are down.

I'm still under factory warranty, so if they tried to do that to me...

Ok, the Macan rips along pretty good.

Tried doing the same launch control thing that the TTs does - not quite the same.

Looked like 3000rpm-ish - it was not nearly as elegant as the TTs, so I may have fudged something up.

Still, for a truck...

I owned a Macan Turbo for a year, it was definitely no slouch, but apples and oranges to the TTS.

Agreed. This loaner is an S, so I think it has a twin turbo v6 at around 375hp according to the Porsche site... but at only 380 ft lbs, somewhat lurchy on the launch, probably due to the weight - I couldn't break the tyres free.

Lol, if you are trying to break the tires loose on your Macan dealer-loaner, you might be a Hoonigan

I'm seeing that 2021 Macan S is rated at 348 hp, 354 tq

I love my Macan GTS - has all the power I have any use for in an SUV

Is the US market Macan s detuned over the Canadian market one?

2021 Macan S is 345.
2022 Macan S is 375

2022 is the new platform with the no-buttons-sticky-finger-prints human interface.

The interior does seem pretty slick.

Now, I have to check what year it is... actually, it is brand new, but maybe a little early on '22.
