Previous little mods many years ago:
1- painted the side mirrors - gloss black.
2- painted the engine Bay Area - gloss black.
3- painted the wing - gloss black.
4- painted wheels - gloss black.
just added within 2 months:
5- Kline headers + Soul performance cat less xpipes - 🔥🔥🔥🔥
6- Cobb tuning + pdk tune.
7- intercoolers.
8- AWE foiler air diffuser.
latest little mods:
thanks to a hit and run, and thanks to the biggest scam in our modern times “insurance companies” someone hit my car and cracked my bumper and chipped my headlights so I changed the entire front number assembly, and did the following:
9- new bumper assembly.
10- used spoiler lip in a mint condition.
11- painted all inlets (sensors + air inlets + - gloss black.
12- Techart bezels around 500$ painted in gloss black - cheap fix to the chipped headlight that would’ve costed me 2000$ easily - so proud of this one! DO NOT order anything tag motorsports, they simple do not have great customer service and they promised to deliver it in two weeks which ended up being a month ))
13- new 991.2 gt2rs side skirts - any suggestions? I wanted to paint in gloss black but the shop has advised me against it as it’s not paintable!!
14- added gloss black Zunsport grills ordered the chrome ones by mistake, had them painted in gloss black and mounted with extra support as they installed the new bumper.
upcoming this week:
15- repainting wheels - again gloss black.
16- tinting my windows 50%
I’ve always wanted to write here but never thought I could come close to being cool as the rest of you in here! But now, with all these little mods, maybe, I could be at your level )

How do you like your Kline headers? Do they reduce the drone/rumble at low rpm ranges?
man headers + catless xpipe will always give you drone no matter what you do!
I noticed anything above 2200rpm is annoying but it is what it is!!! but the rumble + turbos spooling + backfire + unleashing your engine is worth it to me! Driving 70mi/hr on the highway will be around 2000rpm and you won’t feel/hear it!
I personally turn the music up and my ears now kind of cancels the noise out! I was already thinking my car doesn’t sound loud, left it for 4 days and now I’m like no no it’s freaking loud! Lol
***WARNING***: your car will get all kinds or rattles noise that will drive you crazy more than hearing the drone! Most annoying one is the gauge cluster bezels 😤😤😤😤😤 but it is what it is! All worth it tbh now not only I smoke everyone, but I smoke them down shift and let them smell my fuel and get burned haha
1985 Carrera Targa - very cool - that was my exact very first Porsche. Of all the air cooled one's i owned - I think I liked it the best. Maybe, I just had a romantic memory of it. But I think I preferred it to my 964 and my 993. Certainly the 993 was the most capable and I do remember that my 1985 had pretty crude AC and heating for example, but was an absolute delight to drive and sounded the best. GLWS - if i had the space and you were in the US - I would be extremely tempted - especially for the nostalgia. Its a great car!
