What did you do to your 991 turbo today?

What's the "best" map for the DSC? Anything out there for flatter turning/cornering?

I have been down with the Rona for a few days and now 6 days of just rain in the forecast so Tank has to keep sleeping in the garage. By the time the sun comes out I will not have driven Tank for 2 weeks. Is this what being depressed feels like? All I wanna do is go fast right now! Does thinking about your 911 count as doing something to it?

There's been quite a bit written on this, but to summarize....>
Stock, In Normal mode, shock damping is at 20%
In Sport mode, 80%
Nothing in between, and essentially no variation.
The DSC takes normal from 5-100% variable and sport from 20-100% variable
The plug and play Map utilizes all the chassis sensors to instantly change shock response on the fly
Steering angle, G-force, acceleration, ride height, Brake force, body roll etc...All these can be changed with the tuning software, but honestly the stock Map preloaded from DSC feels pretty good.. I may eventually bump up the Sport % a bit or play around with some other maps.
The improvement is immediately noticeable....I felt it as I was pulling out of my drive for the first time. Car feels more "Modern", rides much better in both modes, turn in is more precise and consistent.
The DSC decouples the normal/sport shock selection from the Mode selector so the shocks can be left in either and will stay there regardless of mode selection.
IMO, It's a must have for this car. Well worth it, and a simple 15 minute install..

I'm sorry man. I'm TOTALLY aware of what a DSC does and how it works. I had one and made an install vid for my 997.2 Turbo S. Gave my impressions on several threads.
I was simply asking for your impression on the 991 Turbo S to see if there was anything new I'd not heard. I like to hear personal takes on the 991's.
Frankly, my 991.2 TTS feels way better Stock than my 997.2TTS did stock, so I've not bought one yet.
I wanted to get a really good feel of what this car was like stock prior to ordering one.
I've already PM'd Tom a while back and still plan to buy one.
Sorry again. I just wanted YOUR impressions on what you felt, which you did in the last paragraph.
Thank you.

Biggest tip is to leave a USB cable hooked to it and tuck it under the rear carpet. I know “someone “ that did not and had to bend back in there to hook it up for a software upgrade.

I had heard that the DSC improved things and heard great feedback - more so for Turbo's than GT3's etc. So i got one - recently. In the grand scheme of mods - its relatively inexpensive. I think it made a pretty good difference especially in normal mode. It absorbs the bumps so much better and the ride is less "jarring". Its a big difference in our So Cal freeways that aren't the smoothest where before the car felt it was bouncing. I have another fast sweeping freeway interchange with a bump that always unsettled the car a little. The DSC keeps it better planted. I haven't had time to do a very aggressive Canyon run but overall it feels like a transformed car to me with no drawbacks.
