I tried e'mtb biking... woah! Most fun I've had in two wheels.. beats anything. This was a revelation! I'm totally addicted... you can go anywhere, ride forever, climb anything, even the most technical super steep hills, and as my weak-*** legs get tired I slowly ramp up the electric assistance as the day winds down so I can make it back to base. This makes so much sense I can't believe I never tried it before.

E-bikes are the Teslas of cycling. Naturally aspirated for me.

Bought my wife a Levo SL and I am scared to try one myself as I am certain it's a lot of fun. I.m afraid I'll never touch my other MTBs ever again even though some people claim they keep on riding both. Been MTBing for 40 years.

Just try it! You still get plenty of work out and it takes the sting out of the really tough hills. I bought an e-Mt bike 4 years ago after knee surgery and it's the best! I've been Mt biking for 30 years.

Mooty, I hope you will be posting your thoughts on the Aethos...

Re: e-bikes, the Levo SL is really fun. I am also still a naturally aspirated guy but with the SL, it is light enough to pop off stuff and throw around. Other e-bikes feel too heavy to me. I have a 60+ year old friend with one. He was getting slower and the SL put him right back in the front of the pack with the rest of the 30 and 40 year old youngsters. He can now go on all the fast rides. It is a decent argument for an e-bike!

a coke grueling pre thanksgiving ride on aethos

it rides like a very light steel / ti bike. I didn’t weight it felt lighter than SL7. I think descends better than SL7. really nice to get out saddle and climb. it has a springy give like ti and steel

What's faster? SL7 or Aethos?
