^ the stuff I bene eating Is ⅓ the price they charge the same at restaurants. still $, but it is addicting. I eat steak 1-2x a year for my entire life... now I am addicted to the good steaks just like I am with chocolates. yes I buy chocolate 20 lbs at a time. don't last long.

Evilfij- the outside of your Weber looks crap. I clean the exterior with W40 and mine still looks brand new even after 10 years.

this thanksgiving, best turkey ever, herb brined for 24 hrs, then sat in fridge for 12, took out and added lemon pepper rub, 3.5 hrs on the recteq at 350.
Then on Friday, slow cooked carcass for 24 hrs to make stock. Made vegetable soup with stock and dark meat.

I picked it out of my neighbor’s trash years ago and threw it in my pick up truck to see if I could fix it. My other grill is a Duquane I got for $25 on Craigslist that I had to patch a hole in. The Weber the AA battery in the igniter was dead. That’s all that was wrong with it. I never even fixed it, I put new battery in and then took it out. I just use a lighter on a stick from Walmart. I love living near rich people. They throw out the best stuff. I am not sure they feel the same way about living near me though. But if you think the weber is dirty, you should see the GT3. Maybe I can rub her with WD40. In all seriousness, I do wipe her down once and a while (dollar store oven cleaner works great), but she sits on the porch and the rain blows in so it is a losing battle.

evilfij - I do same, got my Craftman air compressor with complete accessories kit for $20, almost brand new treager for $200, etc etc. It’s awesome and drives my wife crazy.
but at the same time, I also give back, wife recently upgraded a lot of our light fixtures so old fixtures were sold off cheap.
I did pass on the treager to my neighbors after I upgraded to the Recteq.
wife w George Dyer
