I'll drive to top, switch car for bike. you drive down, i'll ride down. i'm very good at going downhill on bike - will have bike waiting for you at bottom. rinse, repeat. you'll be back in shape in no time.

Funny you mention that.... Ironman have been doing virtual IM’s and 70.3IMs in the C-19 lockdown. That day they had a half IM going. In order to get a fast time on his V70.3IM... my buddy was shuttled up to the top of that hill by his wife, rolling to the top as I was in the last quarter mile of the climb. I may or may not have been a little derogatory with my words to him as he passed!!

At my weight, i am very good a coming down the hill. But, i am down 16 lbs since lockdown started.

yes it was OLH.
it was three days ago I think, little dabs of rain.
I think the key is to lose some wt... but I haven't found negative calorie cookies yet.

and then I find these in kitchen today ugh...

I'd ride up that hill twice with ya to eat those cookies, but then Hf1 would have a heart attack on our behalf.

I’ve been cooking and baking far more than usual.

Made blueberry scones last night (first ever scone attempt).
Pizza crust was organic frozen lump from Whole Foods. Sauce made by me.
Two types: goat cheese and fresh mozzarella sliced very thin, both with super thin baby portabellas sliced on a mandolin.

I’ll attempt pizza dough from scratch now that I finally was able to buy flour and yeast. Tried home made yeast but that’s a work in progress. First attempt was awful and resulted in a loaf of bread the weight of a bowling ball. Tasted great but didn’t rise. Sliced it thin and baked again into a cracker.

Hubby is loving the restrictions so far based on meal prep alone...
(not really....but he is enjoying my kitchen experiments).

My sis is an artist. I’m not a huge fan of Dunkin, or donuts in general, but I like the whimsy of this piece

Fresh mozzarella very thin

Goat cheese

Whole grain bread with black Hawaiian sea salt

Sea salt on crust

Blueberry scones fresh from the oven

Carrot Wellington. Roasted carrots wrapped in puff pastry with a layer of mushroom duxelles and dots of goat cheese. Yum! Turned out GREAT.
Made breakfast treats with leftover pastry the morning after the carrot wellington. Half with fig preserves filling and half with four berries preserves.

Breakfast pastry

Fresh from oven

Mmmmmm!

Damn Carol, that stuff looks great!!

Definite side benefit to SIP is a lot more cooking.

I'm getting palpitations from just thinking about such abomination.
