Not sure this is the right place for it, but whatever it’s mooty’s thread, he can tell me to stop. 🙃 Picked up an old Range Rover Classic Long Wheel Base.

Doing all the work to it. Anyone else like rescuing derelicts?

The first two pics show what people think old rovers are like, the second two are what you have to deal with 😇 even on a North Carolina truck. I have been into rovers almost since she was new in 1995 so I know what I am dealing with. Figure a couple grand in parts and a month of weekends and she will be good to go.

I am sure the long hood/356 crowd are welders or rich so either way this works 🤣 If people are interested, I can show some of the repairs (my Instagram has some updates @ptstouring )

Race cars, air-cooled Ps, and more recently Paris Dakar-winning SUV kick. 2-door RR, Pajero/Montero, Land Cruiser, Isuzu Trooper. Are those period white steelies on your RR?

I can’t weld for s_ _t, but can drive vehicle inside ocean container and have metalwork done elsewhere.
