Happy new year from the cold ohio valley. Can’t complain though, good enough that I could drive the old 930 without incident

May I highjack this great thread to ask one Orthopedic question? I'm seeing my knee doctor next week to discuss surgery. I have horizontal tears of the medial and lateral menisci. Mild displacement of the medial tear. Small joint effusion. Cortisone shot hasn't helped. So, is surgery my only option? Thank you for any help

osu...nice work!! I bet that is a fine 930! My 930 has a boost gage in the tach, and my speedo only goes up to 160mph!

I followed Mooty recipe on wheel restoration and CN36, now I don't have any money left for the car!

Your wheels look fantastic! I'm doing my wheels now also! Cn36 reissues ready to mount. I think the ‘77 930 had a boost gauge. Speedo is fun 30,60,90,120

mooty - saw you're adding miles and feet; awesome! You'll be doing a 10k' century in no time.

Spent today climbing up Eldridge Grade to the top of Mt. Tam. Not sure why 30 miles in the dirt feels like 2x that, but it does. Beautiful scenery from every turn. Finished out the day with sushi with the wife in the Japanese ****box. Don't want to go back to work on Monday. It gets in the way of riding and driving

Dirt miles = 2x road miles. Sounds about right, maybe even more like 3x.

That describes me ACL repaired knees quite well. Not pain after rides, but tightness ( I guess some swelling?)
