Speaking of value, so glad I bought a car with miles so I wouldn’t “stress” about depreciation.

putting 30k miles on a GT3, priceless!
brought to the dealer today for some more Cup2 goodness. And had some side by side action with a 991 GT2 RS.

Yes, I think so. I can see the confused look on his face when asked for a choice of starter and meal

I have seen that menu recently! Do you need any restaurant referrals in London?

say, I can use a couple of restaurant referrals for the Santa Monica area for this weekend please.

unfortunately I’m only connecting and not staying in London... I’m off to... get it.... Sofia, Bulgaria. former Easter bloc. Never been and I’m very curious about the city.
Will spend Thursday night out by Heathrow for an early flight back to California. There is an Indian spot o went to last time i was there that was fantastic.

what sort of food or style in Santa Monica area??

Too bad you won’t be in London...
Thursday and Friday I have to work in LA, but weekend with wifey in that area. Nothing too sophisticated, I am not like Mooty, California food?

As far as Sophia, I was there summer of 1978 on road trip with my dad. He wanted to see Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, and a Turkey in a Peugeot 505?! I remember breaking down and getting flats and getting pulled over a whole bunch by the cops and we had to pay road tax. I will never forget.

wow that sounds like a great memory!

let me reach out to a foodie buddy of mine. Wife and i tend to venture more along the coast in Orange County, we live south of la. SoCal/oc/La is a great food town, very diverse, very spread out!

Well first impressions of Sofia, other than it being 0c out (which is damn cold, but not unbearable), very good. Saw a few Porsche’s. No GT cars lol.
hotel is nice. Dinner was very good!
never had a bone in pork chop done like schnitzel and it was damn good. Small local restaurant near hotel.
salad reminded me of a Greek style salad.
beer and wines were very good.
And.
a nice meal for 2 at $45 us! Wow.
