You ready for this? Here's the summary of my latest prostate exam at my dealer. Try not to laugh.

Oil Change $491 ($200 for oil and other parts and $288 for labor)
Brake Flush $230 ($39 for fluid and $191 for labor)

My own fault for not getting an estimate beforehand, but as they say, fool me once.

We gotta watch the service guys. I beat them up for better rate. They charge $180 an hr for labor. similar to attorney fee.

I just paid $2200 for 2 yr service on my gt3, which included plugs, oil change, and brake fluid flush. I used to go to Indy Porsche shops with my previous Porsche, but I've gotten lazier the older I get- dealership is close by, loaner car, etc

Most of these guys have it pretty easy on maintenance and consumables....try regularly tracking your car and servicing it regularly....this is why I don't add numbers when it comes to tracking even though I'm a bean counter.

Talked to GM today to see if we should finalize the build. What he says is he has my allocation but how the heck can he get me a MT with PTS if the system is not accepting both. He says he is waiting for PPN update and instruction from Porsche and as such the saga continues.

Yup, as I said repeatedly many times to others here, you cannot submit a MT build at the moment. There is also no such thing as a promised PTS allocation, for now. Even 918 VIP owners and VVIP customers are told directly by Porsche they will try to get them PTS, but no promises.

chaosoul, is this info you've shared with us any different from how it was the last few years? What things have changed now from the .1 gt3 generation?

There will be no discounts. - Why?? Back in 2014/15 they had the engine issue ect and there was hesitation from Buyers for a short period. Some cars with engine changes people walked from before receiving.

I remember receiving my car after it sat 5 months at port. I was not even excited to get it. I actually signed the paperwork and drove it home with a lot of skepticism. That is not how one should feel when picking up a brand new GT3. This time I will enjoy

same here... got my allocation (2nd of 5 cars for my Belgium dealer) but he isn't sure if I have a July build or a December build... and not sure it's going to be manual or PTS or normal
