Got an interesting email yesterday. There must be some new edict from PCNA that if you give up your RS to them you move "way" up the list for next RS and obviously GT3. Will def take them up on this for .2 RS.

From who? dealer or Porsche? I would be down with that. I was already planning to continue recycling my cars.

Just had a discussion about the .2GT3 with my new sale's rep on Tuesday. I was a little bit afraid since my trusted/liked/friend sales rep. now runs the alfa/Maserati dealership. So we sat down with my new - actually very likable down to earth - new rep and he had my build for the GT3. I said I was willing to pay MSRP, and he right away said "of course". No markup nonsense. Granted, I am looking for the second sets of allocations, I do not need the car until next spring.

Hi guys, so I've got a production slot finally for July 2017 and I expect the car to be delivered in late September or early October. This is the only allocation in India for now, and I got it because I was no. 1 on the list. It's going to be PDK because Porsche India doesn't offer manual transmissions here in any car anymore except the GT4's and the only R that got delivered here.

Crazy....I was there a few years back and didn't see a single Porsche in New Delhi or Mumbai.

You have to post pics of your GT3 on the busy streets.

Shivjeet, you'll have to tell us what it's like driving that car there.. how long before you get a gentle bump in traffic? What's the pothole situation? Any fun roads with good curves and smooth asphalt?

Yup, I'm most likely trading my RS in for the new RS because after the GT3 I have no more space for cars and looking to add real estate so want to keep some powder dry.

So my dealer calls and offers me a September build. I bought my GT3.1 from them at MSRP and a 997 turbo along with a few other cars. So I do have good relationship with them. I was number 2 on the list for the GT3.2. Anyways, they call to offer me a slot, however they want $40k over sticker! I told them not interested. I will keep my GT3.1 for now.

That totally sucks, I hope that you take your business elsewhere now. For them to do that to a good repeat client? That is just sad.

I do wonder, if after calling around at let's say 50,000 over sticker, they lowered to 40,000 and make all the same rounds again of customers… If they have the ***** to call the same customer for five times each time knocking the ADM down a notch until they find enough people to bite?

"hey Jamie, I know I called you two days ago offer you a car at $50,000 over sticker, but today I'm offering it to you at the amazing deal of $40,000 over sticker… You in?… No?… OK, I'll call you again tomorrow...."

Yeah I am pissed. I would understand if I was a new customer, but I have bought so many cars from them in last 10 years.
