My touring was a February 3 lock and June 27th delivery since October / November when I got the spot and nothing has changed.

What's a fair ADM? $50k over?

Just got confirmation that my car went V200! And delivery is targeted for a month earlier than originally expected. Good way to start the day.

For those bestowed an allocation for the end of 2018, what proof do you have other than the salesperson's word?

And should the status be something > V070?

Thx

yes if your SA has logged your order in the internal sales system ... otherwise its nothing but a "promise"

Proof would be a Commission Number and a signed Sales Agreement, no?

I have this. I am not sure if this is just more smoke being blown or more concrete. This is my first porsche so I am new to how the game is played.

I don't think it's that simple. From what I've been told, there are V070's that a dealer has been told they have an allocation for (i.e., Porsche has told them they have an allocation for a car to be produced in X month, delivery in Y month) and there are those they don't. So if a dealer is being straight with you, the customer should know whether there is a real allocation the dealer has assigned to it or not.

You need to have a commission number. If you have that, then the dealer has an allocation and you are in the system.

General question: I reside in West Virginia. Sadly our Porsche dealership was pulled by Porsche several years ago because 1. They were to tight to upgrade their facility and 2. Dealer was not interested in promoting the Porsche brand therefore sales were low. The dilemma it leaves me with is: I’ve loved Porsche for nearly 40 years. I’m finally in a position in my life to own and enjoy one. We have no in state dealers therefore no real relationship...or chance at building one. The dealer I purchased my GT4 from a year plus ago, apparently was a complete mistake (Arlington Porsche) because I ordered that car from allocation at MSRP. Fast forward to today, Arlington Porsche tells me they want a 60,000 bump sticker and it was a complete mistake they sold me that car at MSRP. Dealers in OH have no allocation left but apparently if they did, I’d pay bump stickers and premiums on those as well. I’ve called PA dealers, I’ve contacted GA dealers, FL dealers, hours looking. Does anyone have a contact, a dealer, something with an ounce of hope to get a GT3 sometime between now and the end of the year at MSRP or at least close to MSRP?

mine went V210 too and I was told April possibly. But from what others are saying it could be 4 months from v210. Can anyone with more experience chime in? Thanks

It seems to me that ADM is calculated based on several factors: your market, the dealers allocation, the enormity of the build (a $147k base car v a $196k monster build), the type of buyer they think you are, and how much the dealer thinks they can squeeze out of you. Deal by deal, person by person. I consider myself lucky just for getting allocation, but mine is a keeper build nearing the top of the price range- I feel the price quoted on the paper I signed was fair for what I am getting. Isn't that all we can hope for?

Im V200, looking to take delivery late April. Feels like an eternity from when I started talking to dealer about the car to now, and a whole other one from now until it arrives... OTL

oh my god I can't believe the $h!t I whine about these days... I kind of want to kick my OWN ***.

FYI -- I just got my allocation for a December 2018 build at MSRP. Very excited!
