What I think will be the final code - would love some feedback:

A dream since the first 996 GT3 came to the market - I still can't believe I got it. FYI I put down a deposit in 2/2016 to get on this dealer's list and they finally called. Crazy game but I would say if you are on a list and have been for a while, you may get a call soon!

How the hell do I wait 7 more months now?!?!
Nice spec. I’m not a fan of the black handles. They don’t work for me but that’s just my .02 as nothing else is black gloss. I get the idea but your eyes end up focusing too much on the handles. Yes it’s a retro look but those handles were not body color back in the day. Nor were they gloss 😁

Folks getting 991.2 GT3 expect something from Porsche.

One packet for 991.2 GT3, the other for the Cayenne Diesel.

I wonder, what is the build V status when people receive these? Just want to know when I should/could expect one...

That package comes a while after you buy the car. I think the V code for that is Vroom!
Comes with every new or CPO Porsche from my experience.

Hahaha... I though several people here received it before their cars arrived.

I took delivery of my PDK 991.2 GT3 and Unpunched 2016 Cayenne Diesel, December 27 last month and received the welcome gift yesterday. I am thinking my recent purchases of Porsche, I have gotten a gift for each of my recent Porsche purchases. The carbon fiber pen writes and feels nice. A very nice thank you gesture and very good reading materials respective to the model you buy from Porsche.

Drive safe,

Got a call yesterday from Porsche San Diego. A buyer had “backed out of an order due to health reasons”. Silver, Loaded...$30k over sticker.

I got mine waaay before my order went V200. I don't believe it has anything to do with order status, sorry to say.

I hope you told Porsche San Diego that you will be passing on the order 'due to health reasons"!

I just want the little diecast they sent to pretty much anyone who ever mentioned a GT3 in the US.

Porsche Canada did no such thing.

I thought SD was an MSRP dealer. Guess that's why I got BS excuses and fell further down the list.

Funny- most people who did not check this box for the GT4 ended up with it. Porsche did not care and just added it in. In the end- nothing I even noticed.
Exactly the case on my GT4, it was not ticked as an option, does not appear on the build sheet/window sticker, yet Porsche decided I should have it...

Better would have been to say...yeah, I'll have to pass on the car as well due to my wallet being allergic to ADMs. haha
