My dealer asked me where I see myself in ten years. I also had to submit an essay on what it means to me to be a GT3 owner.

As stated, that's why they are still free allocations. No one wants them except impatient people with more money than they know what to do with.

so too late to be part of the 81%?

Sounds like those free allocations that remain are still free for a reason!
If you read through that thread with the poll, there were some GT3.1 bought new at below MSRP.

If you do take it at $15K over MSRP, make sure to participate in the poll so that the poll stays current and true. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...u-pay-adm.html

Once your order is final, please participate in the poll here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...u-pay-adm.html There is a need for true numbers and not urban legend.

Considering that my local is more into cars and donuts instead of track like me I would never pass.

Its non of his business anyway.

Please tell me you're joking and your dealer didn't really ask you that.

You are in real trouble now. How
are you planning to respond to
your dealer? I feel horrible for
you!

We have known you here at
Rennist for a very long time!
And your significant other has
also told us a lot about you too!

So I hope your dealer is not
a subscriber to this thread!

Gee, I got an email, yesterday, from my sales associate. The dealer was given two 2019 slots and one is mine. So, around the end of 2018 I should have it. It will be at MSRP.

It's a small dealer. I think this is actually the first two slots they've gotten since their two 918 customer allocations. On the .1 GT3, they got a couple more slots quicker than this. Adds to the story that there may not be as many .2s as there were .1s.

For now, I'm enjoying my 2014 - over 54,000 miles

Don’t do it. Bad for you and bad for everyone else here. Wait them out. If they think MSRP is not enough profit for them, then you know what kind of dealer they are. I would not want a relationship with a dealer like that.

Here's what happens when it's time to get service from them:

And if the dealer is willing to sell at the (still 100% full retail) price they are supposed to be selling them at, then they will move those allocations.

Its pretty clear where the logjam lays here.
