Gee, I got an email, yesterday, from my sales associate. The dealer was given two 2019 slots and one is mine. So, around the end of 2018 I should have it. It will be at MSRP.
It's a small dealer. I think this is actually the first two slots they've gotten since their two 918 customer allocations. On the .1 GT3, they got a couple more slots quicker than this. Adds to the story that there may not be as many .2s as there were .1s.
Offered a slot today+$15k think I'm gonna take it......
Don’t do it. Bad for you and bad for everyone else here. Wait them out. If they think MSRP is not enough profit for them, then you know what kind of dealer they are. I would not want a relationship with a dealer like that.
Here's what happens when it's time to get service from them:
As stated, that's why they are still free allocations. No one wants them except impatient people with more money than they know what to do with.
And if the dealer is willing to sell at the (still 100% full retail) price they are supposed to be selling them at, then they will move those allocations.

For now, I'm enjoying my 2014 - over 54,000 miles

Congrats and awesome that you have driven 54k on a 2014 GT3!
