I assume it was an early production car since they were taking it on street drives with a plate I assume it was not pre-prod.

magic carpet ride also comes with repairs on the accumulators. I'd rather have the old fashion suspension.... but that's just me.

Just buy a 1-2yr old McLaren.....they tend to level off after the first year or 2.

If there was ever a time to do something like that it now would be now with the 675. I am completely amazed that they are selling for what they are. I’m keeping mine forever.

Has yours failed? Or read it on the internet?

I saw a new GT3 RS .2 at the dealer last week because the engine caught on fire.

GT2RS burned to the ground at Buttonwillow a couple of weeks ago. 570 with homemade exhaust burned a little bit on track. 600 LT with shoddy worksmanship on aftermarket exhaust without getting a track inspection was about to go up in flames since oil cap wasn't tightened enough.

Above 3 things I know personally. I'm not sure why even people bring up mechanical reliability or lack of it and pit marques against one another. Hell, some people keep posting the same thing or theme over and over again.

it’s called being brainwashed by a brand, and that’s ok but you miss out on trying new things. Minus Mclaren Ferrari and Porsche wouldnt be pushed to the limits. Mclaren has only been making road cars since 2012 which is scary actually. Still love my Porsche, but nothing wrong with a wild MAC to light your hair on fire.

I had a 996 C4 Cab and a 997.2 TTS cab and sold them both a while ago. Miss my TTS. I picked up a ‘19 720S and absolutely love it (except for all the attention). One of the best things about buying a Mac was the bespoke 4 hr. Private tour we had of the McLaren Technology Center.

Took the 720 to Road Atlanta so I could actually floor the gas pedal for more than 5 seconds without killing someone or going to jail. There were 3 guys in a group chasing each other in their GT3RS’s. Those cars just look great and handle awesome. Now I can’t stop thinking about how I need a GT3RS. Great time to be a car enthusiast!

I drove a 570s mac recently and although this is not Mclrn's best offering I came away extremely impressed with the grip, power delivery, and just how honest the car felt. I even liked the turbo lag well cause that's how turbo cars are supposed to deliver power.

I've driven a few ferrari's and love the idea of them but when I drove the mclrn I truly felt like they make drivers cars for people who truly care about driving. Truly MIND BLOWN

Indeed it is a great time to be an enthusiast. Always wanting the other guys car is what makes this thing go round and round. None of the cars are forever type cars. A person is just robbing themselves of experiences if they just stick to one marque their entire life. (my experience in real life is that people do dable into the other marques).
