My 12C is #183 very early production, still built by old F1 engineers and quirky.

But man that 675 is looking GOOD
I traded my 570 on mine and I can’t emphasize what an upgrade the 675 is. Can’t imagine anyone ever regretting upgrading

You are the fourth sale Dallas lost that I know of in the last couple weeks due to stubbornness on pricing. Lost as in people still bought Mclarens, but had them shipped from elsewhere. Tell me what you are willing to pay for the Napier and as long as it’s reasonable I’ll call them and tell them they need to step up or I will never refer anyone else to them.

In any event, I think you should take a swing at this one. It is a gorgeous spec $492k msrp car! This is where I got mine. Ask for Chuck, tell him I referred you and cut a month end deal. They will treat you right on your trade. If you get a deal done I can refer you to the shipping company I used (same one park place uses) cost will be $2,200 round trip enclosed exotic car carrier (all in including your trade outbound and the 675 to you).

They must be in the car pretty deep, and close to 5k miles they should be eager.

I think If someone can get $240 for the volcano one they should jump on it. Don’t think Ogara will sell it for less but end of August is the time to cut a deal.

Not sure what Naples would do the Fistral blue spider for. Since it’s a $492k msrp car I think they paid a decent amount for it. They are asking $279k. Again, end of August is the time to get them to deal

For some reason volcano orange looks even more impressive on the 675 than any of the other Mclarens. I think it just accentuates the aggressive styling of the car and offsets the carbon trim so perfectly.

I actually liked it so much I made am offer on it, but they weren’t willing to budge much on price. The service history on the car was more than I would like to see, but it is qualified with extended warranty and cars with issues aren’t going to survive qualified preowned inspection.

Here is a video of the car. You can see how the color pops in the sun

What was on the service history that you didn't like? Thanks for the info!

Just had several service items early in its history.

I purchased a 675 spider last February and I believe it may be the best overall sports car that has ever been made. The looks are a great combination of exotic, elegant and aggression. The handling is telepathic and the power is hyper car league and it rides better than my M6. On top of all that you can retract the roof with zero compromise to the performance. Additionally with only 500 spiders in the world it’s also truly limited.

Dammit - you were doing so well selling the 675LT like the rest of us owners as greatest ever - but comparing it to a M6 though, really? JK

I had an M6 - modded to hell and back - latest iteration - was enough to have me walk away from the brand - a boat really with unusable power in North America.

Not going to regret anything Mac makes. I am buying a GT for the wife, we went to the unveiling and she loved it. I was going to put cash down on the 7XX LT but I really like the looks of the 675 far better than any 720. Maybe because most of it is 12C shaped and I LOVE the interior of the 12C, so comfortable.

Thanks Thomas, wife wants me to keep 458. My prior 12C and 650s spiders issues have led her to blocking 675.

When I started this thread the premise was really about where the share was being removed from to MAC, and Porsche was never the target. Interesting comments on Ferrari as there’re cranking out cars like MAC. We’re in a car buying market across all brands which is why it’s good to cross shop. We make them all better by sharing for wealth.

Well you definitely win an award for admitting on a public forum that your wife decides what car you get to have.....

I would definitely get a McLaren. Except the nearest dealer to me is 420 miles away and I live 100 miles out of Vegas. Perhaps one day there will be a dealership in Vegas. No way I would get one and deal with getting this car to the dealer and picking it up God knows how many times for issues and warranty work. Only way I would consider getting one would be a killer deal and live within very close proximity to a dealer. So if you have one and live in LA for example you are probably okay. Cross country or extended road trip? Big gamble in my opinion. I'd assume most who have one in this thread do live fairly close to a dealer.

My post read that it rides better than my M6 gran coupe, I was not at all comparing the cars performance wise.
