What I think would be an epic car would be the drivetrain of the 911R lifted into the GTS body. Stirring, high revving engine mated to a manual gearbox with 500HP to play with when you find yourself with an open road, but road compliant suspension and burmeister stereo with apple car play if you are stuck in traffic. Non sticky tyres as you don't need them on the road, and every now and then it rains. Top it off with the ducktail from the sport classic but don't do limited edition and it would be perfect. You could bury me in it. 👍

So launch is now march for .2gt3. Does that mean all is done/set with this model or are they still testing it somewhere? When will they attempt the record times at Nordshleife? April?

Speedster would be interesting with the R underpinnings/engine. It was a pretty car when it was smaller, 356.. etc. with the new body styles it's just massive and unbalanced

Some people (not inc me) were shown what the R speedster would look like, at Geneva last year. (If I'd been there, I couldn't tell you about it!)

Are you guys trolling me??? I almost hope that this isn't true, because this may be the hardest decision of my life & I'm going to lose a lot of sleep if it is.
I've had a deposit down for the .2 GT3 for over a year now and know a lot of people on here will think I'm crazy, but my biggest "complaints" about the GT3 were no back seat (I'm 31 and little ones will hopefully be in the picture soon), as well as a crappy stereo. I know, I know, the engine will sound amazing, but I'm also a bit of an audiophile and would have loved to have a Burmeister system in it. I was seriously debating about getting the GTS instead, but didn't like the turbo engine & lack of spoiler.
This so called GT3 touring checks all the boxes. Back seats, great sound & comforts, 911R drivetrain & ducktail spoiler..... It's gonna be hard to justify the regular GT3 for only 2-3 track weekends a year.
I foresee starting a new thread in my future asking for advice what to do......
Any word on when the GT3 Touring will be announced? MSRP similar to, or less than the GT3?
