Yes, shiny bright yellow PCCB's.
Only seen a handful of RS but GT3's plenty. See one a week?

In Houston I saw them daily at work parking garage because i infected a few co-workers with the Porsche GT obsession illness (this is a disease with no cure to-date). In fairness one was already an long-term AC-aholic and he's the one that introduced me to the concept of owning more cars than can ever make sense to any rational human being. But once you get past 2 toys, there's no difference between 6 or 10.

Anyway, other than the fellow GT nut jobs I know and see, I probably saw a random Gt3 less than half dozen times/yr in Houston area. NY is a different ball game. Much higher concentration of Porsche GT cars at a car event but never see them in the wild. And for good reason: I'm learning a daily driver car in NYC is a full contact, borderline off-road consumable item. Bumpers are actually used to tell you you've gone too far. Games of chicken are an acceptable driving technique. But, in fairness, people are better, more attentive drivers. I see less BAD wrecks, especially for number of cars on the road. Probably because no one ever gets out of 1st/2nd gear.

Guess it makes sense given you're in bling capital of east coast.

It used to be that ALL Porsche owners did the customary flash.

I will make an effort to talk to any GT car owner if I encounter them in a parking lot, as well.

Let me rephrase myself again. What I meant "it happens all the time" is not that I see lots of GT cars, but when I do they flash vs most non GT cars seldomly do. I guess not a big deal.

Used to be like that is right. I remember driving my first 911 in the late 80s and got flashed on my first test drive. First look at the Porsche fraternity

The Panamera/cayenne stopped the courtesy flash between Porsche owners.

When Porsche only made sports cars we all flashed each other.

I still make an effort to flash people. More likely to get a flash back from an air cooled, a transaxle car, or another GT car. And pretty reliably any sports car Porsche near a race track.

Not often. True. But it has happened especially at cruise night.

Still works pretty good between aircooled 911 owners. The few times I meet another aircooled car in traffic they flash or wave back.
