I'm wondering whether they'll promote the car as a worthy track car, this time around?

Would it make sense to release both the GTS and 991.2gt3 in Geneva?
All this talk about wing delete makes me wonder if it wouldn't be smart to put them both on the podium at the same time.
GTS with the 3.8l g engine and wing delete/MT option. How hard would it be to hook up the MT to the 3.8l instead of the 4.0l?
991.2gt3 with the 4.0l and PDK?

Sales are down on the regular 911 line. GT cars are selling like hot cakes.
I know what I would have done if in charge in Stuttgart. Not sure it will work with Euro emissions rules tho.
Maybe a special US 3.8l GTS NA version?

3.0l tt in GTS nipping at heels of 3.8l GT3. Ergo 4.0l in .2 GT3.
Question really becomes what do they do with GT cars when Carrera S and GTS is bumped to 3.2 tt in 2018 or 2019?
I don't follow their sales data but if Carrera sales were down one answer may be less expensive new TT competition with better performance. Ergo new TT Base Carreras and GTS plus helps with CAFE. GT cars sell to core enthusiasts. Others sell to dentists and salon owners and others looking for a perceived fast status symbol. A GT owner and driver will give a thumbs up or flash lights to another GT3. By contrast, the non GT owner doesn't even know or care you are there. You will find their Carrera sandwiched between two mini vans at the A&P.
Thus despite AP saying GT cars will remain na my bet is they won't. He's the same guy who also said "flappy paddles are for grandmas" too not that long ago. Just say'n.

GTS is Turbo with powerkit,I don't know why it's being discussed as if it would come from the GT department... Sure, even the top of the line RS is now assembled on the regular line, but GT cars benefit from even more performance and Motorsports oriented parts.
