The Z07 OEM tyres are the R03 option tyre on the GTR; (never delivered with them in the US at least, even if ordered that way), and is the tyre used for the N’burg time.

Thanks ... I'll definitely get them before hitting the track.
Plus it'll give me a true like for like comparison tween my Z07 and GT-R lap times.
Starting to get bored of waiting around for a 991.2 GT3.
Was looking at the MB page. Does the GTR really come with adaptive cruise control, parking sensors, and cameras? Looks like you can spec Burrmester over Bose as well?

Seems like it may be a really fun usable daily.
It does come with all of the above and even more amenities when spec’d correctly. It’s a very useable car, although it does garner quite a bit of attention especially in GHM! lol
Five of those cars are just about tied for 2nd place. I wouldn't make much of the very small differences which could be attributed to driver, tires not at optimal pressure/temp, etc.
Manual vs. PDK shouldn't make much difference if the cars are driven well.
Yes it will make a big impact on times no matter how good the driver is. At a track like Sebring I have seen 1 to 1.5 seconds gained on upshifts alone comparing manual to sequential/PDK type gearboxes on race cars. To put it into math if you upshift at Sebring 19 times in one lap (counted this off memory of a GT3 Cupe Car and you gain .05 seconds per shift the time gain in shifting alone would be close to 1 second. This doesn't take into consideration the fact you can do no lift upshifts that cannot be done with a production gearbox H-pattern and your acceleration curves on the data stay linear during these no lift upshifts.
Except, many of those .2’s will be MT. I would be curious to see where a GT3.2 MT or even GT3T would end up on the lap time list. How many times do you shift per lap....each shift you lose about a car length to PDK?
This has be debunked repeatedly. The manual loses a Small fraction of a second per 60 seconds of lapping. Nowhere near a car length per shift. And in between shifts, the Manual is faster as it's lighter and has less internal friction.
Only 2 10th's difference on an 84 second lap here (and the PDK has the much more favorable spec - and it seems as though Randy did not use the No-Lift Upshift feature):
