Sorry, my photos were from last evening. No plans to head to the show again. Hopefully someone here will be going to the show in the next week and can ask for you.

I believe the GT BS is still planned. Given how quick the GT R is, the BS will have to be very special indeed!

It's coming.

Probably not until 2018, but it's coming.

Seems like a close game between the RS and the GTR.
Just surprised to see both are slower than the Huracan/R8

I have had the thought that my E63 motor in my GT3RS wouldn't be such a bad thing.
If I wouldn't track (much) it would be an easy call at +/- $165K.. never mind with CPO depreciation factored in..

R8 is seriously underrated car. People who know how to drive it properly achieve some impressive times. Chris Harris is a recent video said after unlocking its secrets that it should be at the top of peoples lists if looking for a car in this price range. He also rated the Lambo a bucket of dog's ****. IMHO, it's horses for courses. One man's meat is another man's poison.

I have sent email to MB Corporate in January to see if they have the price for the GT-R, they told me to wait till spring.
Now, 300K-350K for a GTR? I remember EU price for GT-R is around 20% higher than a GT-S?

I'm no expert but that price seems high for the car and doesn't line up with the US pricing being posted even if you use the FX rate on those US prices.

I was given that number on March 23. Was thinking it'd be a good option if GT3 allocation doesn't come through....not at that price.

Same reason why I asked. I thought it should be no more expensive then the R8. $300-$350K must be wrong......

U. S. availability is summer, 2018. I have no idea why the date is so far out. It is strange to announce a car that is based on an existing car, and then have it available in 1 1/2 years.

The all-new 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R begins its reign in summer 2018.

Key Highlights**

** European specification; US figures may vary.

Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo with dry-sump lubrication
577 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque
0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds; top speed of 198 mph
Active rear-axle steering
First-ever 9-mode AMG TRACTION CONTROL
Extensive use of carbon fiber in key areas to lower the center of gravity and add torsional rigidity
Aggressive active aerodynamics coupled with an advanced cooling system
Wider front and rear fenders by 46mm and 57mm, respectively
Exclusive new color:"AMG Green Hell Magno"
New face of AMG: the Panamericana Grille, inspired by the AMG GT3 racer
Prominent central exhaust outlet with standard AMG Performance Exhaust

Cars are being produced as we speak. Look for early deliveries in June/July of this year.
