If this car is as good as the reports indicate, then it is a bargain. My GT3.2, which arrives in July, is fractionally more expensive that my GTR which arrives the following moth. It's GT3RS+ performance for a GT3 price.

Wonder how easy is it to get an AMG GTR allocation, I've hard the production number is low but so is the demand compares to GT3.

If I can't get a GT3, might just go pick up a GTR.

I was given this last fall when the order window was open. I was "told" there was only a two week period it remained open before they were all spoken for and it closed.

My dealer was only allocated the one car I was given but if you want one I would start checking with dealers that may have ordered without an end customer, of course that may come at a price as it so often seems to do these days.

easy to get cars. that 2 week window has since reopened. Its not a limited car.....

Of the 3 dealers I called, all three confirmed within 24 hours that they could get me one.

The Dealer I spoke to 45 days ago only had (2) allocations and they are pretty big. Funny thing was none were spoken for. I thought about grabbing it but not ready to go Turbo until I have too and not necessarily sold on its styling(actually- does not move me). Not looking for a luxury GT type a car. I just like a "toy" for my weekend cruises. I know - it will have Rs type of performance but still it does not move me

Thanks guys. Nice to know the allocation is easy to get.

Rode in a friend's GT-S last year and all I remember is the sound of that AMG engine. It's really good and can't believe it's a turbo.

Local Mercedes dealer emailed me asking if I was still interested in one. He will know allocation date in next few weeks. I live in a relatively small market so surprised he had one available

I out of the blue called the smaller local dealer in my area, and am supposed to hear from the New Car manager tomorrow. Will be interesting to hear what he has to say about whether there is an allocation to be had.

I've really got my heart set on a GT3, but I'm guessing that would be a two year wait at least for one at MSRP.
