Depends.

I'm #5 at a small dealership in the Midwest on a 991.2 GT3. That means 2019 at the earliest.

I'm about to find out more re: the GT R; that could well be another option.

I'm also considering the new 'ZR1' or whatever has been testing recently.

My Z06 will be 2 1/2 years old before any of the above options could come into play, and I haven't kept a car that long in a long time.

Just recognized your name from the Vetter forum. I'm in the same boat. Want a .2 GT3, but might not work out. The new Vette should be interesting and this GT R looks to be quite a machine!

The flippers have already started. My GTR coming in August is 176K with options and inc tax. This one in Germany is advertised at 297K euro. That's 120k euro over list price. Doubt they will get it.

Will be interesting to watch. This going to be a new experience for the MB buyers. Let the game begin!

my understanding is that this won't be a production limited car, so I hope that the 'flippers' lose their asses on the car when they can't even sell a used one at MSRP.

I'm intrigued by this GTR. I think it's going to be a great car, but I'll be very surprised if a 1 yr old Used GTR doesn't sell for at least 10% less than MSRP.

Damn. Thanks for the head's up.

I think we can all agree it's going to be fast and brutal, but the question is whether it's engaging and, the question that won't be answered on any of these shows, whether it's reliable for more than a couple laps at a time.
