Will most likely be the same story as before. VIP and good customers get offered the first allocations at MSRP. those next in line will have to pay premiums. Those being patient and just wait out the frenzy will get cars at MSRP.

There will be plenty cars! Just be on a list, have some sort of business relationship with your dealer and avoid California.

Exactly. I moved to California a year ago and have been rather disappointed with the dealers out here.

Not even with the new purchase of a non-GT Porsche, none would guarantee me a 991.2 GT3 allocation at or near MSRP.

So I'll be ordering every Porsche, GT and otherwise from my East Coast dealer. All SoCal Porsche dealers have lost my business for life.

The red circle appears to show the diffuser, doesn't it? I see at least 3 small vertical blades in the area under the engine.

i can understand the confusion. you're expecting an actual diffuser, the kind which runs uninterrupted by a low exhaust and creates actual low pressure-induced downforce. yea, you'll be disappointed.. in porsche marketing speak.. the little vestigal pieces just hanging underneath the car are what they are calling a "diffuser".. just have some more koolaid and you'll start feeling it working.

Have to say, after talking with an aeronautics engineer and showing him a picture of the R "diffuser" I have to agree. He said it's like putting a ribbed condom on a small Weener. Might make the wearer feel it's bigger but the recipient is unlikely to notice. His words not mine. We were on our second bottle of red....

There is two different sets of pics. One set was copied in this thread. The other set, a different one, comes from the link that was posted related a to a mag article The pics originally posted in the thread do seem to have a "real" diffuser, while the pics in the link to the article do not seem to have a real one. As Calexio clearly states more of a marketing speak for a cover that has some vestigial channels.

You can see the scoops on the new pics....

I think the front clip is a little busy, but I could live with it. The rear...I am not really a fan of.

Want to see it in other colors before I go damning the whole thing.
