Yes, another report says 4.0L
I think it makes sense. 460 bhp is too little in any case...
Bumper looks better from the side IMO but not from the front, Those black shutter things over the side radiator apertures are a bit odd.
Doesnt matter what it looks like anyway. Porsche know we will suck up all they can build!!

"The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the most popular race car in the world with 3,031 sold since the start of this millenium. It comes with a completely new engine: 4.0 direct injection six cylinder naturally aspirated engine producing 485hp. The new GT3 Cup weighs 1,200kg.
It is fully homologated for the GT3 class and it is built on the same production line as the Porsche 911 road cars. The new Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup cost 189,900 excl tax. First teams can take delivery of their GT3 Cup prior to the start of the 2017 Season in March."

Hmmm....
This just may have sealed the fate of my .2 GT3 vs RS purchase. RS for the win. Was there really any question anyway? So far the front fascia bugs...

New look is sharper and more edgy. I like it no less than the old look. Front is more "Ferrari" indeed, but it looks great. Much, much better on photos, than on drawings we had from Holland (?) website.
Aggressive. The more I look at photos the more I like it. Old car looked like aggressive, but it's very "soft" and round comparing to the new one. I hope front bumper will be the same on GT3 as it is in Cup. I would trade .1 for .2 for the looks only. Well done.

there s a new centralized oil spin-dryer to avoid oil foam and the oiling issues of 9a1

It looks quite wide at the front with the fender extensions of the Cup. Looks like the front axle is as wide as the rear but that may be an illusion. Very long bumper beyond the small "letterbox" grill at the front. Door handles appear to "stick out" on side profile...

They may have improved teh design I guess but they could have easily changed this during series production if it were the "missing link" in oiling issues (which I dont believe it can be - its to deal with crank cavitation not valve-train).
Of course I could be wrong. It wont be the first time!
